Nisemonogatari - worth watching... at first
NisiOisin has the enviable ability to take run-of-the-mill concepts and transform them into complex, beatifically expressed stories. I first came across his work when Bakemonogatari, began as an anime series two years ago. NisiOisin's literary versatility had continued to amaze me with Katanagatari, which was aired a while after that. The same can be said now, of Nisemonogatari, the sequel to ...

    Just as Great as Bakemonogatari!
If you loved Bakemonogatari or Katanagatari, you will love this! I love how this anime makes you think about simple subjects, but then turns them into complex subjects before you know it. It has the right amount of funny, and the right amount of ecchi and action. If your a person who likes great stories and truly unique characters, I recommend you check Nisemonogatari out along with Bakemono and ...

Why Nisemonogatari Deserves My First Perfect Score
As mentioned in my Ore No Imouto review (go to the show page to read if you would like), I believe that five star ratings are only achieved by a combination of favoritism with quality; I would provide the favoritism when given the circumstance while the anime provides the rest. That said, I was very hesitant to give Nisemonogatari the perfect score of five stars, since it is not my ...

Nisemonogatari is a unique, masterpiece ride that leaves you begging for more.
Nisemonogatari follows perfectly were Bakemonogatari left off. This show has an outstanding writing, which is not matched by most of the series out there. The creativity and the way the conversations develop are just hands-down masterful, but what really stands out to me is how the psychological aspect of the series is presented to the viewers. The way the characters move, express themselves, and ...

    Nisemonogatari is very good
very well done and unique. the animation was top notch and enjoyable all the way through. It has a touch that proceeds its predecessor, Bakemonogatari. This flow of a plot line is very slow but is just begging for another sequal. Five stars.

This show blew my mind-watched it 6X!
This series really amazed me-lots of great direction, art, and writing. There is a certain provocative uneasiness that pushes boundaries- but it's so interesting!
And it doesn't abuse the supernatural-it's just a setting. My new favorite show!

    A Stylized Phenomenon!
A complete 11 ep review (After recently re-watching it since the first time it was simulcasted):
Before I begin the review, it is recommended (at least by me) to at least watch the show that came before this called Bakemonogatari. Bakemonogatari is the first season in the Monogatari series with Nisemonogatari as season 2. Watching that will help you familiarize yourself with the many ...

    Lives up to its predecessor
If you liked bakemonogatari, you'll like nisemonogatari. It's much like the first in terms of how the characters act. There's more action than the first and it's more intense, but the characters are still very much the same as they were before. Entertaining.

Great Anime, Depending On Who You Are
If you love anime that is all about talking then this will be great for you since thats about 90% of what this anime is, but when fights occur they are pretty artistic or atleast exaggerated a LOT! The Music Is Great, The Art Style Is Also Great! So if you can overlook some of the wierd insest that occurs here then this will be for you.

    Another beautiful and haunting anime!
As the others reviewers mentioned before, Bakemonogatari was the first of this series, but Nisemonogatari follows with its own strange and haunting stories. What I enjoyed most was the new and extremely interesting relationships developed between the main character with his sisters (more than I expected) and the strange but equally interesting relationship with the blonde vampire Shinobu who ...
