    Beautifully Woven Short Series
I don't give 5 stars often so you know this story is a good one. I've watched it so many times...and each feels like the first. I'm not going to lie, there are some shonen ai (yaoi, boyxboy, g@y however you want to call it) but its woven into the story so beautifully that even the most homophobic would still enjoy the story line. Also the depth of characters and story make you really question how ...

I would highly recommend this series
I have seen countless shows and this series remains NO.1 (see what I did there). Although I have seen better animation, the coloring and backgrounds are superb (I believe they were done by the same people who did Ergo Proxy). The voice actors do an amazing job and if you wish to watch the dub DON'T. The manga and the novels have a lot more detail and I would highly suggest reading them. Although ...

WHY THEY CAN GET AWAY WITH MAKING THIS SOO SHORT!
The characters actually develop. Animation was regularly impressive 90% of the time and then there were some oh S#!+ moments, mostly when a fight occurs, i guess. The story line was a little unclear to me. I think may be, when it was being explained, I wasn't paying attention but that's the only reason for the four stars. I would have put 4 and half but I don't think its allowed. The ending was ...

    short, but a real pleasure
this show has a lot of your standard dystopian themes but, really, dystopias have been done for ages so it's hard to do something truly ~original~ at this point. best you can do these days is try to put together elements in an interesting way and execute the story well, and i think no. 6 does a pretty decent job of that. the last episode is definitely rushed - the ending should have at least been ...

    Series Worth The Watching
When I began watching No. 6 I really did not know exactly what was going to come of it. I love everything in the anime, the art work is beautiful and fits the story line. The story line has a good balance of genres and none of them overcome the others in a negative way. The feelings and growth of each character is realistic.

Why don't they make more anime like this?
Brilliant and intelligent! Okay everyone else has commented on the beautiful graphics, which BONES has completed a feast of epic proportions for this anime. But the story is the true work of beauty again clearly reviewed by others in highlighting the relationships of the characters and the emotions born from the tale. What i found odd was the absence of evocation that the environment created ...

This anime was exactly the right length.
However, even being the right length, the proper use of episode time to tell the most key points of the story is debatable. I love the ambiguity with which the male protagonists are portrayed, and the feel of the music is top-notch.

No. 6 is the best of BONES
No. 6 is the story of of two boys from different backgrounds that manage to become close friend even though their differences. This anime is based on a nine volume novel, only 11 episodes that were not enough to tell the story but still worth to watch.

One of BONES' Best ANIMATED SERIES.
Overall, "No.6" was arguably one of BONES' best works. Great fluid animation, great character development, naturally flowing music, and all those other great qualities that BONES is famous for. However, since this series served as an 11-episode adaptation for a novel that is originally nine volumes long, there just wasn't enough substance in it. In other words, there were some loopholes and ...
