a MUST SEE.....It will instantly become one of your favorites.....
It is based on a non so distant future, where humans have destroyed every living place, but 6 cities, where a "utopia" is been tried to create, but thanks to our human nature, we just create a false utopia. This is a place where if you don't agree we'll just shut you down by force, or you can run away and live outside of the city away from all those rules.

It will influence all the ...

WOOT WOOT! No.6 is amazing :)
Well for starters the hype was 100% on point. Quite a few people had given me great reviews for this show so I decided to see what all the fuss was about. And man am I impressed. The story line was very unique and it kind of reminded me of Hunger Games with the different city-state/areas. The OP theme is very memorable, and the music was so good I've downloaded the opening song and added to my ...

A fast-paced and compelling short series
What a great find--a fast-paced and compelling short series that I wished had been just an episode or two longer, to wrap up all the storylines. I watched all 11 episodes over a period of three evenings, absolutely glued to the screen and staying up later than I should have on a work night.

No. 6 is set in a dystopian future where an unspecified series of wars have laid waste to most of ...

Tragedy and Humanity in No. 6
No. 6 is a visually stunning story that seamlessly encompasses multiple themes including totalitarianism, government-backed genocide and human testing, a heart-breaking love triangle, survivalist instinct versus humanitarianism, and a subtle pro-environmentalist agenda without being too preachy and overbearing.

How the creators of No. 6 man managed to pull this off is an impressive feat, in my ...

Great Series, Bones has done it again.
Bones has a habit of making odd story lines work out wonderfully and No. 6 is no disappointment. This series starts out really slow but it is worth the time. If you are a fan of old fashion works of social fiction (think Dickens, Orwell, Conrad, etc.) or just like a plot line full of subtle hints and allusions leading to a huge reveal, you will love No. 6's story line.

    The characters are ...

A captivating experience set in the future
It`s still a little early to judge, but, what I CAN tell you is that the animation is just ridiculous... Truly great graphics happening. And the story-line is pretty enticing. Im hooked. I like the fact that it takes place in the the future and has the possibility for divergence. definitely follow this.

  • Interesting Dystopian Mystery
I'm struggling pretty hard to decide whether this is 4 or 5 stars.

It had some problems, sure, but it was a contained story that had very little outstanding questions or plot holes. A lot of similar mystery-type anime leave plenty unanswered which can be quite annoying.

There's a bit of a 1984-dystopian setting, which I liked. The color palette was quite bright and the characters well ...

  • Couldn't Stop Watching
I watched all 11 episodes in one go because I could not tear my eyes away from the screen. Worth every minute. I enjoy media with a strong theme of exploring emotional bonds between characters, and while the overarching plot is fascinating and has plenty to offer, the core of this story, to me at least, is the bond between the two protagonists.

  • Gorgeous anime with a few tiny flaws
I waited to write this until I was done with the show even though I had pretty much formed my opinion by episode 3.

This is a gorgeous anime - the animation is beautiful, the character design smooth, yet reactive, sometimes fast, sometimes slow. It's just the perfect mix.

The music is a two-edged sword: the intro and outro are some of the best I have ever heard (I actually bought both ...

  • Had to watch it twice...
I cannot praise this series highly enough. A high quality anime adaption by Studio Bones of the original novel by Atsuko Asano, this series has a great soundtrack and top-notch voice acting to boot. The plot sticks pretty closely to the novel for which I am grateful. However, you do not need to have read the novel to understand what's going on.
You know how some series take up to 4-5 episodes to ...
