a MUST SEE.....It will instantly become one of your favorites.....
It is based on a non so distant future, where humans have destroyed every living place, but 6 cities, where a "utopia" is been tried to create, but thanks to our human nature, we just create a false utopia. This is a place where if you don't agree we'll just shut you down by force, or you can run away and live outside of the city away from all those rules.

It will influence all the ...

WOOT WOOT! No.6 is amazing :)
Well for starters the hype was 100% on point. Quite a few people had given me great reviews for this show so I decided to see what all the fuss was about. And man am I impressed. The story line was very unique and it kind of reminded me of Hunger Games with the different city-state/areas. The OP theme is very memorable, and the music was so good I've downloaded the opening song and added to my ...

A fast-paced and compelling short series
What a great find--a fast-paced and compelling short series that I wished had been just an episode or two longer, to wrap up all the storylines. I watched all 11 episodes over a period of three evenings, absolutely glued to the screen and staying up later than I should have on a work night.

No. 6 is set in a dystopian future where an unspecified series of wars have laid waste to most of ...

Tragedy and Humanity in No. 6
No. 6 is a visually stunning story that seamlessly encompasses multiple themes including totalitarianism, government-backed genocide and human testing, a heart-breaking love triangle, survivalist instinct versus humanitarianism, and a subtle pro-environmentalist agenda without being too preachy and overbearing.

How the creators of No. 6 man managed to pull this off is an impressive feat, in my ...

Great Series, Bones has done it again.
Bones has a habit of making odd story lines work out wonderfully and No. 6 is no disappointment. This series starts out really slow but it is worth the time. If you are a fan of old fashion works of social fiction (think Dickens, Orwell, Conrad, etc.) or just like a plot line full of subtle hints and allusions leading to a huge reveal, you will love No. 6's story line.

    The characters are ...

A captivating experience set in the future
It`s still a little early to judge, but, what I CAN tell you is that the animation is just ridiculous... Truly great graphics happening. And the story-line is pretty enticing. Im hooked. I like the fact that it takes place in the the future and has the possibility for divergence. definitely follow this.

  • A Guilty Pleasure Anime
I enjoyed this anime thoroughly, even though it has major problems. I will judge this anime on its own merits and faults, since I haven't read the manga.

One problem it had is the story. There is a lot of filler and padding. The story tempts you with a dystopian future, government conspiracy story, but then is sidetracked way too often by the characters. By all means, develop the characters and ...

  • Beautiful, but will you care?
I really enjoyed this one. Couldn't put it down, due to wanting to know what was going on or going to happen.
I nicely done, Evil Utopian anime. Full story line and resolution.
You will like the characters, and wish for deeper development with them.
That is where it knitted my eyebrows.
Everything in this story seemed to only half develop.
    Plot, McGuffin, Character's personalities. A little ...

    No. 6 Review

I have been anxious to write a review of No. 6 since I binge-watched the series two weeks ago here on Crunchyroll. Once I had done that however, I quickly purchased the series on Blu-ray as I wanted everything No. 6 that I could get my hands on. This anime and story is just that good! Yes, it has its flaws, but what anime doesn’t, right? Nevertheless, overall, the story, the ...

  • One of my favorites!
I finished watching this anime in about a day. I love the characters, the setting, the art, and the soundtrack! Shion and Nezumi have such opposite personalities that they're absolutely perfect. They balance each other out wonderfully. Now, I'm not even going to get started on what their relationship is; some say friends, some say more, it's up to each person, but all that matters is that ...
