  • Excellent Short and Intense
I really enjoyed watching this anime, and I liked the way that it wrapped. I do wish that the creators had spent more time fleshing out the backstory of the different characters. It would have been great if they had gone into more detail about the creation of No.6 and if we could have learnt more about Sion's mother's involvement in No.6. There is so much more I would like to know. I am glad ...

  • Interesting Dystopian Mystery
I'm struggling pretty hard to decide whether this is 4 or 5 stars.

It had some problems, sure, but it was a contained story that had very little outstanding questions or plot holes. A lot of similar mystery-type anime leave plenty unanswered which can be quite annoying.

There's a bit of a 1984-dystopian setting, which I liked. The color palette was quite bright and the characters well ...

  • Couldn't Stop Watching
I watched all 11 episodes in one go because I could not tear my eyes away from the screen. Worth every minute. I enjoy media with a strong theme of exploring emotional bonds between characters, and while the overarching plot is fascinating and has plenty to offer, the core of this story, to me at least, is the bond between the two protagonists.

  • Gorgeous anime with a few tiny flaws
I waited to write this until I was done with the show even though I had pretty much formed my opinion by episode 3.

This is a gorgeous anime - the animation is beautiful, the character design smooth, yet reactive, sometimes fast, sometimes slow. It's just the perfect mix.

The music is a two-edged sword: the intro and outro are some of the best I have ever heard (I actually bought both ...

  • Had to watch it twice...
I cannot praise this series highly enough. A high quality anime adaption by Studio Bones of the original novel by Atsuko Asano, this series has a great soundtrack and top-notch voice acting to boot. The plot sticks pretty closely to the novel for which I am grateful. However, you do not need to have read the novel to understand what's going on.
You know how some series take up to 4-5 episodes to ...

  • Favorite Anime Ever!
This is without a doubt my most favorite anime ever. There is so much heart to it, so much sadness but will leave you with a satisfied feeling. I cried, I still cry when I'm watching it. It still gives me chills. It's so beautiful, it's so well done.

  • That's some good anime
Definitely top notch anime. I'll be looking out for more from the same folks. it's a short anime, and not a continuing one. This will hurt a bit to know that there aren't 20 more seasons of awesome to enjoy. I would have love to see the characters develop more, but for as few episodes as there are it was a great story. Well done!

  • A thrilling story left unfinished.
No. 6 was a compelling work. It is set in a fairly cliche false utopia (which obviously gets opposed), yet still manages to provide an intriguing mental stimulus. The characters and their interactions are memorable. Allowing people to visit other cities amplifies the conflict and confusion. And the artwork is wonderful.

The ending, while cathartic, is obviously rushed. The plot treaded very ...

  • Complete and Can Go Beyond
Character development is done efficiently. An almost minimum but enough number of slices of life are used and, combined with dialogue and characters' reactions to events, make characters vivid. Each character shows enough complexity to events, which also pushes the plot to progress naturally with a good pace.

Little, if any, superfluous setting is squeezed into these few episodes, so instead ...

  • The Ending Had Me Chopping ONIONS!! (ಥ_ಥ)
In my opinion, it was a cute and, tragic story. I know...cute and tragic contradict each other! I mean like the (ノ◕ヮ◕)ノ*:・゚✧ BROMANCE IS REAL✧゚・: *ヽ(◕ヮ◕ヽ) and so are the feels! The story keeps you wanting more and reels you in right from the get go. I recommend this, especially if you like a sprinkle of fruit loops, if you know what I mean by that. Make sure you have a box of tissues with you ...
