Huge Fan..Want More!

OMG Huge fan of this work, twisted, funny MOE and cat ears...sooo cute. Only down side to me was the ending, seemed rushed like well I guess we are done..Kind of thing. I would like to have seen this go on another season.

Anime That Everyone Wants To See!

This Anime was the 2nd anime that i have ever watched, i loved it. the story has action, comedy, and romance.

Omamori A hidden jewel

Well I have watch many animes and this is truely a jewel that was hidden. This is how I am breaking down the anime overall I am giving it a 89/100 just because of the shortness of the series. This is a bad attribute of the series is its shortnest because the story is so compelling and there are so many character that you fall in love with and all the way up to the last episode they are adding new ...

Well I have watch many animes and this is truely a jewel that was hidden. This is how I am breaking down the anime overall I am giving it a 89/100 just because of the shortness of the series. This is a bad attribute of the series is its shortnest because the story is so compelling and there are so many character that you fall in love with and all the way up to the last episode they are adding new friendly characters. This sereies had an oppurtunity to go further than it did. The graphics of the anime were superb and are at a fantastic quality. I jus there were more episodes, but I doubt this will ever happen but if they do decide to do another season...then they left a huge cliff hanger at the end for me anyways. So heres to another season.

Just because it's an anime doesn't mean it's all that great.

Overall this series is just on the bad side of average. The characters and story fall into the uninteresting, cliche category. The opening theme is good. The colors and animation are good but that's about as interesting as it gets. Might be worth a try if you aren't looking for anything special.

Overall : It was pretty good.

Storyline : The storyline was somewhat interesting. It starts off slow (only about 4 minutes xP) and then it gets really into it.

Music : I have to say , I like the music . The opening was an awesome song . ^^

Characters : The girls were like completly hald naked and it was kinda perverted too but it was pretty good

Grear series to watch

This series was great to watch but i find the manga, of this series to be much better in the plot area. But other than that i have to say that anime followed the mangas originally story line except for the few minor changes. I have to say it is worth watching.

Good series for the genre

*Keep in mind that this is a typical cliche fan-service Anime, so the plot is essentially non-existent and you'll enjoy it more than if you're expecting it to turn into something amazing.

**The reason I watched this series is because I found out that Ami Koshimizu (who is my favorite voice actress of all time evar) played Himari (who is now in my top 10 favorite female Anime characters) and ...

Storyline: fairly typical plot; Only child, parents died in a car accident, taken care of by the neighbors until his 16th birthday when he finds out he's the heir to one of the more powerful demon slayer families and meets Himari. Insert some more Moe stereotypes, a handful of amusing misunderstood situations, sprinkle in a few fights and you have the baseline for Omamori Himari.

Music: Opening/ending themes where pretty good, the music that played during the actual episodes was less than impressive but not bad

Characters: No noticeable development in anyone other than Yuto really, voice-acting was spot on for the most part, I have a feint recollection of one scene where Himari is screaming something and it sounded slightly not as emotional as I would have liked.

Animation: Shinji uses one of my all-time favorite animation styles, very clean and smooth.

SUMMARY: If you are looking for a short series with some amusing dirty humor and a fair amount of fan-service just to pass the time Omamori Himari is a very fitting series.

Definetly one of the better comedy romance series!!!

Omamori Himari is one of the better series under the genre of comedy romance! It offers a bit of action but only enough to draw the viewers into the story and not too much to ruin the theme of romance The characters are all very well done in terms of facial details and overall body design!

Omamori Himari is also very refreshing in terms of the development of the story since in almost every episode there are always surprising new things coming into the play! Lastly Omamori Himari have a lot of romantic scenes in it but most of them are not serious, just a bit playful :3

There are I believe 2 kiss scenes and they were with two differnt girls and they come in pretty unexpected scenes when you wouldn't bve expecting any.
Overall this series is definetly worth while to watch!!

I loved Omamori Himari

Great Show. The Characters were all very endearing and the story line was excellent.
It is a harem style show where the guy eventually finds more and more ladies who live with him or fall in love with him.
All of the characters are pretty funny for different reasons and the designs and animation look very good.

The only downside I did not like is the interim photos of some of the younger ...

The only downside I did not like is the interim photos of some of the younger characters when they lose their clothes during a transition. Its funny when its an adult character but some of the characters like the water type and the one who uses earth look around 10 years old, so I did not like that part.

However Overall the show was very entertaining and enjoyable to watch. I don't think I've ever watched a series faster then I watched this one, normally it may take me a month to find time/interest, but I had this watched within a week.

I hope they make another season because I would watch it!

Excellent Show, but a little too much fanservice

Ok so if you don't "like" or can't tolerate fan service this is definitely not the show for you. Personally I loved this show but the main premise isn't really anything new. You have a pretty much wimpy kid that gets thrust into a secret world that he didn't know anything about or had forgotten about, For no other reason than the sheer fact that he is the main character the wimpy guy gets a whole ...

Ok so if you don't "like" or can't tolerate fan service this is definitely not the show for you. Personally I loved this show but the main premise isn't really anything new. You have a pretty much wimpy kid that gets thrust into a secret world that he didn't know anything about or had forgotten about, For no other reason than the sheer fact that he is the main character the wimpy guy gets a whole lot of women crowding around him looking for some loving, or at least that's the way it seems. However, the truth is Yuto is the descendant of some badass ayakashi killer who spared a cat ayakashi and in exchange for it's life it swore loyalty to Yuto's family. The only problem is Yuto has a cat allergy which is played on A LOT by his next door neighbor and her cat and then Himari his demon cat guardian. This promise of great power and other features of Yuto is what attracts these attractive females to him. Despite it's seemingly unoriginal plot Omamori Himari does set itself apart with its character choices. Yuto could be compared to Mamoru from Venus to Mamoru or Yukinari from Girls Bravo a wimpy guy who tries really hard but still needs others to save him. Especially comparable to Yukinari who also shares a special allergy. Himari however isn't your typical big boob flirty girl who constantly gets under the skin of the main character. She is whole-heartedly devoted to him and is quite unselfish thinking of his well-being before her own if you don't count her causing his allergic reaction and getting beat up by his neighbor. Great show to watch, I've probably seen it around 15 times and I could still watch it again right now.
