    Anti-Love, Pro-Harem, All Good Fun
This is not the most original of series. In fact, it banks on the fact that you, the viewer, have most likely watched plenty of anime, as it is quite full of inside jokes and quick references to other shows. The trick here is that Oreshura takes tried-and-true harem elements and mixes them up just enough to keep things interesting, and it also pulls off a second trick by not overdoing any ...

A stale, painstaking excuse for a series.
Contrary to what one might believe, I actually approached 'Oreshura' with a positive mindset, and while I admit that I also approached it with a set of expectations, I was fully ready to abandon those pre-conceived notions if the series happened to differ.

The fact that Oreshura did indeed differ from my expectations is not a good thing, however. From the very beginning I expected that this ...

    Reviewing Oreshura is a battlefield
This show was the most fun I've had with a Harem series. Each one of the girls, though being stereotypes in a general regard, are still fun and interesting to watch. The dynamic of the show works really well and the jokes are actually really funny, instead of just being gag and perverse. Eita is actually not completely useless and has honest relationships and feelings for each girl. I really ...

  • I cringed every time the "note book" was brought out.
I say this about anime and this ones no different...."oreshura" was another cute anime that im glad I powered my way through the first few episodes.
there was a few moments in the beginning eps. that made me cringe with embarrassment when the main protagonist did.
the story line was enjoyable, funny, and showed (in my opinion) some character development and made "oreshura" that much more ...

Oreshura is hysterical! The characters are extremely different, each with unique personalities which spice things up throughout the whole show. The way the characters are connected towards Eita is quite adorable making a viewer, in a way, root for all the girls that are trying to win his heart. I had a hard time predicting who he was going to end up with, BUT DAMN IT MAN I NEED CLOSURE!!! ...

  • A fun series with memorable characters
Also known as Ore No Kanojo To Osananajimi Ga Shuraba Sugiru

I just loved this show. The characters were adorable and the story was very interesting. I am really looking forward to another season.

I do have some criticisms of the story line though. As always, for the viewer to be able to deeply empathize with each of the characters, more development of them needed to be done. As it ...

    4/5, but just barely
I'll give Oreshura 4/5, but, unfortunately, it's on the border to being a 3.

I really enjoyed the character design, art, and characterization. These characters are top-notch, memorable, and could have done so much more with a better plot. It hurts me that the show ended the way it did: it felt as though the writers couldn't decide what they wanted to do, and they ran out of time.

    I'll ...

  • Make a season2 please
This show was flat out fun, I loved every second. Every episode made me hate the fact I'm not a premium member. But when that new episode came, it was right on time and worth the wait. My only gripe is that this season went by to fast; but overall it was splendid.

  • Pleasantly Surprised
What caught my attention was the art at first, soft colors, well drawn scenes. But then I started watching and fell in love with the characters and who they were. Great story about a boy that doesn't want to find love, but is surrounded by it. As with most anime I have been watching lately I wish the story could just keep going. ^^

Nothing groundbreaking, but very funny and entertaining
Oreshura is a slightly odd case. On the one hand, it's an entirely ordinary harem comedy. On the other hand, it tries to be a little bit more than that via character development. To be clear, the characters aren't much beyond tried and true archetypes. There's the protagonist Eita, who is pretty generic and uninteresting on his own, the "almost-an-imouto" childhood friend, the gamer girl who knows ...
