This is an nice little show. It based on 4 half demon/spirit n 3 human soldier forming a pack to fight in what they believe.

Each character has a back story to show how they become who they are today. Nice story, plot is fun to watch.

it has alot of action, little love, but over all an good anime to watch.

but i felt that this anime was so amazing it needed one.
otome yokai zakuro has quickly and almost effortlessly made it to the top of my favorites, the characters are real and loving, the animation is amazing, like a buffet for my eyes! the plot and story are very engaging and the romance has me squealing out loud!
i love love love the characters and how they interact with each other and their ...

but i felt that this anime was so amazing it needed one.
otome yokai zakuro has quickly and almost effortlessly made it to the top of my favorites, the characters are real and loving, the animation is amazing, like a buffet for my eyes! the plot and story are very engaging and the romance has me squealing out loud!
i love love love the characters and how they interact with each other and their personalities are so different and yet the all come together to make this beautiful family.
I really hope there will be another season for otome yokai zakuro, because it has me craving for more!

Best new Anime of 2010

This show was so good, so excellent that I am sorry there is not a score higher than 5 to give it.

The writers did an excellent job. At the end of this show, you know 'exactly' what happened to each and every character. From the little shy spirit (minor character) to the main characters. This is how shows are suppose to be written. And even knowing the entire ending there is still room for ...

This is how shows are suppose to be written. And even knowing the entire ending there is still room for season after season to come!

This series could last as long as Naruto because what they are fighting for, (understanding between humans and spirits) is an unending challenge that still needs to be addressed.

I urge anyone to watch this show. It has a little bit of everything, Love, Fighting, Mystery, it is really written well and the final ep really was a brilliant ending!

This anime was one of my favourites, not only did it covered my favourite genres but it also seemed to excel in top marks in things like storyline/plot and animation.

The storyline in this anime takes your emotions on a rollercoaster ride whilst leaving you addicted. I found myself forcing myself to pull an all-nighter so I could find out what was going to happen ...

This anime was one of my favourites, not only did it covered my favourite genres but it also seemed to excel in top marks in things like storyline/plot and animation.

The storyline in this anime takes your emotions on a rollercoaster ride whilst leaving you addicted. I found myself forcing myself to pull an all-nighter so I could find out what was going to happen next in the series, infact I asked some of my anime-otaku friends and they agreed with me.

The characters in this series were interesting and well-thought out, I found myself sympathizing, empathizing, despising and loving them all. Each individual leaves an impression on you somehow which could either be you siding with them or hoping for their down-bringer which really proves the quality of these characters to be able to flip your emotions in such a way.

The animation for this anime was fantastic. When I watch anime I prefer to watch one with good art/graphics and Otome Yokai Zakuro is one of them!

The genres for this anime (romance, comedy, supernatural, mystery, military) all fit together so well that it gave this anime it's own uniqueness and such an interesting storyline.

When the storyline came to an end, I felt sad because it was over but still satisfied. I would like there to be another season, but if there isn't I'm completely fine with the way this anime ended.

Good storyline - Could expanded a bit more

I felt that this particular series has a lot of potential and it could of been elaborated a bit more, and it had a great ending to where a second season could of been made. The character's personalities and relationships between one another reminded me of "Ouran High School Host Club"; another great anime series. And this is just me speaking, but I wish they could of gone more into the Japanese ...

i loved this anime but i wish it was longer as well as the storyline it was too short but i wish they would have shown the blonde boy and the black haired girl w/ pigtails more. i loved it b/c it wasnt perverted either but still funny

A Brilliant historical romance.

It took me a long time to watch this anime. I'm not normally interested in historical stories but this may have changed my mind. It was a very heartfelt love story. Watchers become very connected to the characters and their blooming feelings.

I really appreciated the ending.

Just like Omamori Himari and Senkō no Night Raid, the setting and plot synopsis make this show sound really interesting. Too bad that's not how it ends up. The westernization period (alternate world beginning of the Meiji Era?) setting is just used as an excuse to draw characters in different costumes, that is it lends nothing to the story, and the mix of character personalities is used for ...

Otome Yokai Zakuro is a great idea with characters and story that are less than average. You might as well try it though. Seems like I'm the only one who didn't like it....

This is a cute story that moves at a nice pace and is fun to watc! It is engaging and fun. What I loved most about this anime was the detailed animation and the music! it really hit home with me. theres light romance and good action. so if thats what your looking you've found the right anime.

I'll admit, I was one of the people that was kind of turned off from this show during the very first episode, simply because I felt that spirit affairs was a ridiculous excuse to have half spirit girls and male officers in a romantic comedy setting. I'll admit, I was one of the people that was kind of turned off from this show during the very first episode, simply because I felt that spirit affairs was a ridiculous excuse to have half spirit girls and male officers in a romantic comedy setting. Even though the show is definitely about their respective relationships, it is a very deep story with great action sequences and characters you actually care about. When I watched this series, it feels like a mix between ouron host club and sakura wars; especially after watching the theme song which is awesome!! The one thing I really didn't like about the series was the short run for the series as there is a lot of material they could have gone through for the other two officers and the other half spirits. I would definitely recommend this series if you like 30's Japan style action anime with a ton of romance!!
