Spirit Animal: Packet of Mild Taco Sauce
PandoraHearts is an entertaining show with some good humor, an interesting enough plot, and a likable cast of characters. Regardless of how much it tries to be something more though, that's all it is. Its spirit animal would be a packet of mild taco sauce -- hot, but not that hot. The characters certainly aren't cardboard cut-outs and each one has a distinct personality of their own, but they ...

    I wouldn't bother if I were you
This is one of those anime that just utterly stops right in the middle of the story. There's no resolution to a single plot thread, in fact it stops right when something major is introduced. I guess the idea is to then go and read the manga, but I despise when an anime just STOPS. It's ultimately a waste of time that goes nowhere.

  • A dark and lovely tale
This story was perfect in a lot of ways but there were a few things that kinda irked me.
A lot of people consider it confusing and I can understand why since it can be pretty subtle and not everything is fully explained. Spoiler comments might help a little but at own risk. However, through most of it the subtlety seems appropriate and other things that would be annoying in other shows (like ...

  • Manga was better!!!!
this anime adaption was by far the most disappointing. the manga was one one of the best manga's I've read ever but then i watch the anime and I'm like "what?". I don't regret watching it, though, since it gave a bit more information to the story and the melody Lacie is AWESOME. To end, they could've really done a better job with the anime since the manga was the best.

  • Wonderful Remake of Classic Story
There are so many different versions of Alice in Wonderland that you don't know which version you like more. How do you stand out in a sea of remakes, retold or remastered versions of one story? Pandora Hearts definitely took an idea and ran with it. The characters are zany, loveable and incredibly goofy at times, but it doesn't take away from the story at all. If you really like this anime, I ...

Really Good Anime 10 out of 10
This is a pretty good anime it has a really good story line to it and learn a lot about each of the characters as if you have a connection with them. Only one problem the anime is short and in my opinion should have been longer. Go watch it if you haven't.

  • I was just confused...
I liked the series, but by the end of the series I was just confused. As the story progressed I felt like it fell apart and that not enough effort was put in to tying the loose ends, or even that there should have been a second season and that just never happened. So much of the story was just lost and I was left feeling like I had more questions then answers. I think that when you watch an anime ...

    Only Time Will Tell!
I'll start off by saying: I did NOT read the manga.
That said, I started this anime because the cover looked interesting and had elements of things I liked: magic and fantasy elements + it didn't look like any of the characters were overtly sexual.

The mystery of the main character's "sin" pulls you in as the story unfolds and as more character more characters appear, their stories ...

  • Not your average Wonderland
This is a goth-style Alice in Wonderland-esque adventure and perfect for those who love horror and heartfelt emotion all rolled into something called Pandora Hearts. The ending is rather flat (it only ran for so episodes, like many anime programs) but the manga DOES indeed go on!! The voices are excellent and the art deliciously indulgent. They spare no pains to make it breathtakingly beautiful! ...

  • Ended way too quickly
As someone who reads the manga of this series, I gotta say that the ending was really rushed. I think they did a good job making this into an anime, but I feel like they could have made this a bit longer to get more of the story in. Still a great series that I would recommend to people who are a fan of the fantasy anime genre.
