    A Relaxing Cup of Coffee
This particular series is a fun, relaxing Saturday morning wake up for my wife and I. The word humor is great for those with little ones wanting to learn similar-sounding words with entirely different meanings. The animation and stories are easy to follow and filled with good-natured fun for all ages. And once you realize that the stories aren't necessarily interconnected and usually done as two ...

    Loved dearly and missed
This show warmed the heart and was so calming and relaxed. Instant stress relief. We miss it so much! I hope it someday starts up again, but the entire series is worth re-watching (several times) in the meantime.

Very enjoyable to watch and always brings a smile
I originally picked this anime at random and really was blown away by the random adventures the characters get into. Each character has their own unique charm and you get to see friendships form as well as where friendships originated.

You could almost start watching this show at any point and just watch a stand alone episode, but there is a decent amount of chronological ...

Perfect cast of characters of talking animals !
I have to admit I was bit unsure of watching this anime, but then I started to grow fond of the characters, Mr. Panda has the cute sense and care free attitude that anyone can relate too, being a loaf but also being cute. But also proud to be a Panda which gives out a great shout out

    PANDAS ARE AWESOME LOVE US

Mr. Polar bear steals the spotlight when he really isn't trying ...

A really nice, calm and relaxing anime.
Polar Bear Cafe is brilliant! It's not intense, there's no huge plot twists, no cliff hangers... It's just a nice and adorable anime! The best way I can describe it is that it's like a soap (i.e Eastenders, Coronation Street or Desperate House Wives) but without all of the drama. It's just nice! Characters are great, humour is spot on and Polar Bear is fast becoming one of my favourite characters ...

A cute anime, must watch for elementary japanese learners
This anime uses simple and easy to understand sentences. For people just starting to learn Japanese, you can pick up grammar structures, verb conjugations and particles.. etc... a really helpful addition to your study. I love the puns!

Well, other than that, there's the irresistible fluffy round bears and funny animals. =P

Suprised that no one seems to have picked up on this
From the very first episode, I had the thought that Polar Bear's Cafe is an anime version of Senfield. It's a show with engaging, quirky characters in an urban environment showing them simply living their lives. Moving from insignificant crisis to insignificant crisis, with no real story arc, PBC is, like it's real life counterpart, a simple pleasure.

  • I Love this show!!!!
Im surprised at how much Ive enjoyed Polar Bear Cafe. Its very slice of life. You follow around Panda, Polar bear and Penguin just living their lifes. I was looking for something relaxing to watch after work and school and Ive found exactly what I was looking for. 5/5.

  • A hidden gem - shame it doesn't get more exposure
This is the best comedy anime I've seen in a long time, with memorable characters like the three main ones: Shirokuma/Polar Bear, Penguin-san, Panda-kun and equally memorable supporting characters Grizzly, Llama-san, the mother squirrels, etc.

Innocuous on the surface, but with some unexpectedly cutting wit.

Pilot gave me little reason to continue
The characters were not funny, interesting, or likable. It was incredibly bland and I had a hard time even getting through the one episode I watched. I usually like slice-of-life stories, so I'm not put off by slower paced shows, but this was probably the most boring anime I've tried to watch in many years. The voice acting was dull and lifeless, and the animation, while pretty, was very ...
