  • Hilarious! I love the characters.
    This show is HILARIOUS.

If you're looking to have a laugh, go and start watching this immediately. The characters are quite charming, all of them. I feel like they all represent the animals they are quite accurately, as well.
Seeing animals behave in a very human-like fashion, I guess essentially humanizing them?, is just too interesting to resist for me.

There's a little bit of story to ...

  • PENGIN SAN PENGIN SAN
This is a different sort of slice of life. It's fairly slow paced, and it took me over a year to get around to all 50 episodes, but I just kept coming back to it. The episodes are split in half with two different stories in each half. This made it easy to watch half an episode one day, and come back to it later. It would have been nice if they were split into two 10 minute episodes, but oh ...

  • A hidden gem - shame it doesn't get more exposure
This is the best comedy anime I've seen in a long time, with memorable characters like the three main ones: Shirokuma/Polar Bear, Penguin-san, Panda-kun and equally memorable supporting characters Grizzly, Llama-san, the mother squirrels, etc.

Innocuous on the surface, but with some unexpectedly cutting wit.

  • A superb, relaxing show.
I'll try to keep this short and sweet. I love the artwork. It is mostly dry humor. To me, this show was very cute and relaxing. I loved coming home after a hard day, lying in bed and watching this show. When I run out of episodes I'm going to feel so lost.

  • Just the cutest anime
At first I thought it looked a little ridiculous, then the theme song came on and I thought "well this is kind of cute." Then after the first episode I was hooked. I cannot stop watching this, it's the most adorable anime I've seen in a while. I just want to give each bear a hug.

I find it helps with some Japanese Terms! I like that! It's also has it's own comedy routine!! The anime is not what you would expect but I find it very funny!! rather suttle but entertaining! My favorite character so far is the Polar bear he is so nice!

  • You will know if this is for you after the first episode
The pacing of the show will throw many views off. My guess is that after the first episode you will know if this show will work for you.
I think it is pretty fantastic. There is so much internal inconsistency, but it doesn't work against the jokes. Why doesn't anyone question talking animals? If those are commonplace, why would you go to a zoo? ... but anyhow, its pretty entertaining and ...

  • Panda Power: Polar Bear's Cafe
Excellent series about a sassy, sweet Panda and his friend, Polar Bear, who hang out at Polar Bear's Cafe. Panda and Polar Bear have lots of zany adventures mostly with their pal, Penguin; Sasako, the waitress at the Cafe; and a cast of zany humans and animals that frequent the Cafe. Polar Bear is wise and laid back. Panda is mischievous, inquisitive and blessed with a kind heart. Wonderful ...

  • Stellar Anime to See
Polar Bear's Cafe is a nice and soothing anime to watch after a hard day's work. I really do love the friendship between the characters in Shirokuma's Cafe. Too bad the anime was discontinued, I was looking for more episodes to come. My favorite lines are, "Cafe Mocha okiwari", and "Iced Coffee".
