    -Insert joke about panties here-
Well unlike Spongebob Squarepants, our main protagonist wont be going on any panty-raids anytime soon! This anime definitely exceeded my mediocre expectations (I only watched it because it was a NoitaminA anime, known for animes such as Guilty Crown; Tokyo Magnitude 8.0, Terror in Resonance, Eden of the East, Your Lie in April, and many other great anime).
The animation is very vibrant, and ...

It's not what you think it is.
Read the series description and you might be tricked into thinking this is another one note comedy trying to get a rise out of its audience with promises of panty shots and cute girls doing cute things. That it is not. Well, it does feature plenty of panty shots and the girls are cute, that is true, but it's a smarter show than you'd be led to believe. Penned by the writer behind the Zero Escape ...

This is actually a amazing anime that takes you in after episode 6, the whole anime changes after ep 6. A MUST SEE!
The first 6 episodes seem like its just your normal ecchi, but it's not, the anime fools you, and then takes you in. After episode 6 things get serious. He goes back in time to save his friends from dying from a meteor, and you learn about his past. Do not be so quick to judge this anime. It has an amazing story, has great graphics, and is funny at the same time. Do not judge a book by its cover, ...

A Boot to the Head is more like it!
The anime itself is pretty good overall and gets more interesting the more you watch.

The story revolves around some interesting people who live together in a boarding house. The group consists of a boy and 4 girls. It's kind of like the old 70s show Threes Company, except it has spirits, government conspiracy, super heroes, robots and a perverted cat.

So far the artwork is OK with ...

A surprise show I never saw coming
I could say a lot about Punchline, but I will keep it short.
Is this anime worth your time? I think so, it has an interesting and unique story and while it's confusing and you're bound to get lost, everything makes sense in the end. Everyone else has said it and I'll say it too, episode six and up is where it becomes an anime to remember, and it's what made me fall in love with this anime. So if ...

Give it til episode 5!!! "Spoiler free mini review"
I found myself going from interested, to disappointed, to pleasantly surprised, to hooked! Punch Line certainly has a slow and confusing start but once you trudge through a lot of the "seemingly" random exposition you'll find this anime to be one of the hidden gems this season.

Getting past the ecchi there are actually fairly deep, fleshed out characters and backstories to uncover. Besides the ...

A quick review thus far to outweigh the negative ones.
Punchline is a show that does not take itself seriously, and that's a good thing.

With its premise being the extinction of the human race whenever the MC see's panties twice in a row, it clearly would suffer from a serious tone.

Punchline is reminiscent of shows like Kill La Kill and Gurren Lagann and other shows that are over the top, and just pure fun.

Punchline is a show that you need ...

    Pleasantly Suprised!
Based on the description, I was expecting an over the top ecchi comedy without any meaningful plot. However, after watching the first episode I knew I was in for a treat.

This show has plenty of twist and turns to keep viewers interested and a cast of varied and interesting characters. I was thoroughly impressed! This show is hands down one of my favorite anime that I have seen. If you haven't ...

    Fantastically Colorful!
I watched this show expecting nothing. Unlike a good portion of the people who dove into this show expecting the most. Of course a lot of them decided against their better judgement that they'd drop the show due to the excessive and most ridiculous premise of the show. But, In my opinion that made the show quite a bit more interesting, and the animation and characters made it hard to stop ...
