REBORN!

PLOT/STORYLINE 9.5/10

The series, at first, progressed slowly. It pulls out some random story and turns it into comedy, which, I honestly think, sometimes fails. It got exciting as the first arc approached, yes, the Rokudo Mukuro arc. I always thought this anime would be boring forever, and that I will give up on the anime if it really fails to amuse me. I hesitated until the first arc came. I never knew the series would be serious since all the past episodes were really boring. I never read the manga, so, I don't have a clue on what's gonna happen next. During the first arc, I gotta admit, I was amused.

And so was the second arc, it was entertaining and really breathtaking. I mean, come on, the battles were spectacularly planned. Although some battle scenes might be considered as cliche, it doesn't really matter. The protagonists put up a great appeal and so were the antagonists. As the 2nd arc ended, it became my favorite anime.

Next is, the 3rd arc. It's what I call the millefiore arc. This was the best arc so far. And it just ended on episode 141 (I think). The twist really gave me the goosebumps, yes, it's something that was unexpected.



I never would have thought about that one. I was shocked, yet it gave me a smile for I was amazed once again. The whole arc turned out to be like the game Suikoden. Call me crazy, but, that's what I really think. You recruit, you fight. That's what I saw, the family working together to defend themselves against a powerful opponent, the Millefiore Family. The plot never failed to amuse me, and so are the characters. So, currently, I'm looking forward to the 4th arc, The Arcobalenos' Trials arc (i hope i'm not mistaken.) And I'm getting more excited just thinking about it.

I would have given it a perfect 10, but, the fillers were really low-class and somewhat annoying, so it kinda ruined it.




CHARACTERS

Here are the list of the main characters, and what I think about them:

♦ Sawada Tsunayoshi - An unexpectedly coward Main character who never fails to amaze me. He's the main protagonist of the story, and is really sweet. At first, you will find this guy pretty annoying, that's because he was a wimp back then and always whines. He's got decent looks, when he's normal, but when he's changed into Hyper Dying will mode, he becomes handsome and gorgeous. As the story progresses, you will notice, although it's just a little, his character development and improvement. His leadership skill, bravery and reliability, are some of those traits that continuously develop. He's a great character, therefore, I give him 9.5/10.

♦ Reborn - The so-called strongest Arcobaleno. Yes, I believe so too. He's cute, funny and always reliable during desperate situations. He's what-you -call, Tsuna's tutor. His attitude is remarkable, that's why he's popular with so many fan girls. One of his admirable traits is his unique intellect. You already know it, he's smart and inhumanly skillful, that's why he's reliable enough to be hired as hopeless Tsuna's tutor. He's devilishly adorable, therefore, I give him 10/10.

♦ Gokudera Hayato - Self-proclaimed Tsuna's right-hand man. Sometimes he could be so annoying, when he shouts all the time and shows a little of his creepy "I'm-obsessed-with-the-boss" attitude. You read it right, sometimes, I just don't know if he's in love with Tsuna or just plain doing his job, a loyal right-hand man. His abilities are really unique. Although sometimes I hate him when he insults someone, his character development follows really great as well. Therefore, I give him 9/10.

♦ Yamamoto Takeshi - The only character who can stay calm every time. That's the most admirable trait of his, being calm. "A humble and calm man is always successful", was it? He's also dense, making him a funny character sometimes, and also one of the most handsome characters in the entire series. Although I don't know if there's still something he's lacking, I don't mind because he's just gorgeous the way he is right now. For his calm and dense impression on us, I therefore give him a 9.5/10.

♦ Hibari Kyouya - The most powerful Vongola guardian. He's scary sometimes and lacks cooperation with the others, but that makes him the cool and badass type. He's smart and appeals great for his character is one-of-a-kind. His martial-arts skills and intellect proves that he's a dangerous person to deal with. Sometimes i think his aura is awfully scary, yet not scary (If you know what I mean.). His cool-type personality receives a 9/10 from me.

♦ Sasagawa Ryohei - The muscle-head of the team. His strong determination and passion towards victory makes him a winner. He's a pro at boxing and knows martial arts too. That unique personality of his, which is "To the Extreme", makes him somewhat admirable and adorable. He never gives up and he earned my respect through just that. In a way, he's one of the most reliable characters in the anime. Although he might be a little stupid, he's still cool. Therefore, I give him 9/10.

♦ Chrome Dokuro - The only girl guardian. Her existence gives off a mysterious aura, true that, her quiet personality adds to the mystery. She is my favorite character, because I find her cool and mystical as well. She has a weak body, and only illusions can help her with that, for she has no longer a complete set of body organs. But that doesn't stop her from being strong, as a matter of fact, her abilities are powerful enough to make one not want to mess with her. I'm not going to be biased, so I give her 9/10.

♦ Lambo - The cutest baby in the whole series. He's a crybaby but never fails to make me laugh. I honestly think he's adorable and cute! But, sometimes he could be so selfish and causes a lot of trouble for the others. That's annoying. But still, his existence is unique, at the same time, gives off a comedic aura. With that, I give him 8.5/10.

The music is great, but not excellent. The bgms are also decent, so I think an 8/10 is enough for its music.



ANIMATION

At first, the drawing/animation is kinda crappy, but as the anime goes on, you'll see massive improvement. I enjoyed watching it the way it is, but I still think the animation is great, but not that great. Also, somehow, I feel like the drawings of other parts are rushed, that's why you'll think of it as cheap. BUT, only the little details, I find the whole animation thing great though. So, I give it a 9/10.

Quick Summary

Tsunayoshi Sawada isn't very popular. Not athletic, or very smart. He's called "Dame-Tsuna" or no-good Tsuna. So one day, his mother hires a tutor for him. He finds out his tutor is a baby who tells Tsuna he's going to be the 10th boss of the Vongola Famiglia. His tutor, Reborn, trains him to be the next mafia boss, along the way, Tsuna meets a bunch of friends who help him get stronger and together they form the Vongola Famiglia! Ironically, despite being in the mafia, they have yet to do something illegal. XD

Actual Review

Reborn is the best thing since sliced bread. If you haven't watched/read this series yet, your life must be pretty empty. Reborn will change your life forever... Well maybe not to that extreme, but I am completely in love with this series. This show is incredibly funny, it's not a typical shounen. You expect a main character who just godmods, being a prodigy, having some special ability, or something, but that's not Tsuna. Tsuna's one of the few main characters I like. Akira Amano, the creator, is a complete god. You should go worship her. All the characters in reborn are truly their own person, with their own personality and everything. Each with a unique background and attitude. Just like any long-term shounen, there's different plots. I can't explain all of them in the summary, but when you watch this series you'll understand.

I just realized I didn't talk about the dying will bullet at all. XD The dying will bullet basically makes a person jump out of their clothes and run around with fire on their head. Pretty shweet. This series is really popular, and full of awesomeness.

I command you to watch this series. It will improve the quality of your life, and to some who watch this, it could even spice up math class for you! Akira Amano is a complete god, and the manga is even better than the anime, but both are almost equal in awesomeness.

This series is your destiny. You must meet your destiny and fulfill the prophecy. You shall NOT regret watching this series.

Summary:
Tsunayoshi Sawada, a no-good boy, one day comes home, greeted by a little baby mafioso, Reborn, who apparently is his new home tutor. His job is to guide Tsuna into his role as the 10th Boss of the Vongola family, so the wish from the 9th. With the help of all his new friends and an array of special items such as the "Dying Will Bullet", he might just be able to do it.
Meeting new friends and fiends, become stronger, no one can stop Tsuna him, right?

Comment:
Well, were should I start. I saw some pictures from Reborn and heard from some people of it, but I wasnt really interested. Then, beginning of the month may, I watched the first episode and was really suprised. I started to watch all episodes 'til yesterday and now Im waiting for the next one. So, as you can think, it is really an amazing anime and I couldnt stop watching.
On the one hand it is really funny and stupid (like Tsuna in his underwear), but on the other hand it is thrilling and full of action. It is admirable how this young people can fight and their will to do something.
Sometimes there might be scenes you dont like, but well, it is always like this. For e.g. me, I don't like the love in animes and mangas, just like here. It really annoys me, but I think it is funny too.
But therefore I even like the scenes with the gloomy Hibari and animals.
The characters, the music and storyline do all fit together .... depending on all points maybe thats the reason why now, after not even one month, it is my favorite anime next to Prince of Tennis.
I think, if you really love to laugh, especially about silly things, like a boy in his underwear going through the city, young boys fighting against stronger ones and giving their best and a mafia family which grows together, then you should watch Katekyō Hitman Reborn!

Firstly all I have to say is the first 20 episodes of this anime you'll have to grit your teeth and bear it because I'll be the first to say how boring it was but I gave it a chance when others gave up, it will probably take you episodes 21 to 25 to really get into the story of this beautiful god sent of an anime. But from then on its easy flying to one of the best anime's I've seen so far, rivalling the most common and loved anime's such as Naruto, Bleach and One piece.
What I would say this anime does better than most is character development because the first 20 episodes you'll find yourself getting enraged at the fact that the main character "Tsuna" is a complete loser who runs away at the first sight of danger but for example if you skipped right to the end of this anime you'll see one crazy awesome mafia boss. Other characters are very intriguing and unusual which makes you want to watch until you eyes hurt.
I highly recommend this anime to anyone who has the patience to watch 20 or so episodes which will reward you with an anime gem you wouldn't want to miss and by the end of the 203 episodes you'll be out to get the manga from where the anime left off because you get so attached to the characters you wont want to leave them behind.
Long story short this is a stunningly animated anime which has perfectly executed and exciting battles which have you on the edge of your seat the whole time. Watch it.

It's one of my favorite animes ever! I love the plot first of all, I mean, Mafia+magical powers=incredibly awesome anime. I even read the manga afterwards, so I could find out what happened next! I was a bit disappointed to find out that one of the seasons was all filler and I suppose that some of it was a bit repetitive in terms of meets bad guy -> defeats him -> gets stronger. Even so, I love it so much and just watch it, read it, everything! <3

I started Reborn a few months ago, and it took about 4 months for me to finish the first 20 episodes. It was horrifyingly dull, and I couldn't even get through one episode without getting distracted. I read all the reviews here and thought, 'What the heck?' So I just continued watching. I was surprised in the first arc, and I continued to be surprised throughout the rest of the anime. My interest piqued in the second arc, and I couldn't stop watching the third. Reborn is an anime that will shock you again and again. There are so many plot twists, I've repeatedly wondered how they planned it all out. One of my all-time favorites that rivals Naruto Shipuuden. Out of the 70+ anime I have watched, Reborn is definitely in my top 10 at least, among Gintama, Mushishi, D. Gray man, Lovely Complex, Hyouka, and One Piece.

I might not need to say this, but Luffy from One Piece is my #1 anime guy. Next is Sakata Gintoki, then Ginko from Mushishi. Tsuna, of course, is in my list.

Just... watch it. Please.

REBORN was actually a pretty good anime it had interesting twists and it was always difficult to guess what was going to happen. Now there were a few things about it that i didn't really like, first off every time he gets his "powers" his clothes fly off leaving him only in his boxers. I guess it's supposed to add some sort of comedic relief but i just found it strange. The last bad thing about this anime i guess is that it gets off to a really slow start and doesnt really pick up or gain a real plot until about 23 episodes in. But if you like to watch animes that have alot of characters and strange powers then this is probably going to be a anime for you.

First off, I want to say great job on the series. Thê beginning arcs were risky with "filler" episodes but it was pulled together nicely.  Also, I DO NOT READ MANGA, so any arcs that happened after episode 203 I have little clue. I think there's a new "flame of night introduced and arcebaleno teams" 

Second, this anime's "best friend" in my opinion was its originality. I have never seen an anime even remotely similar which may be why this anime became my second favorite anime of all time. (favorite action anime) 

The only reason I believe the anime stopped at 203 was because it put itself at a "checkmate" after defeating Byrakuran. 

1) The ultimate boss was a boss in the future "hence" once they returned to the present, a new "daily life" arc wouldn't be appropriate and current day bosses naturally wouldn't stand a chance.  Note: Going to Thê past could have been an option after episonde 203 and a filler arc. 

2) The revelation of Byakuran discovering the mare ring. (Byakuran was told there that if he considered it a game that there were two other players: Vongola and Arcebaleno.) Note: That piece has already been played and can't be undone. Naturally the same would apply for Tsuna and Luce. [P.S create a new link. With the millefiore out of the way, assume that 7^3 policy must be restored from 7^2, so that a third link was automatically created.]

3) The death of Luce. This may not seem as important, but without luce the show wouldn't be quite the same. "Sky arcebaleno have a history of dieing young". I don't entirely remember how Aria died, but I propose that in order to fix this, there should be a new Sky Arcebaleno after every Major boss battle or every other. Not minor bosses like Murkuro (sorry dude. No disrespect but you were a minor boss. Don't kill me)

Suggestions for future Episodes

#Please bring the series back!

#Tsuna can enter deathperate mode without taking a bullet to the head. 

#The other Arcebaleno become increasingly involved in Tsuna's life but not overwhelmed. 

#Lambo actually "holds it in" or "stays calm"

#Ipin explodes less often. WTF LOL

#Tsuna and Kyoko realize their feelings while Haru understands and takes it well. 

#Gokudera passes out less at the sight of his sister. (good job in future)

#Yamamoto falls off with his sword technique because of baseball and ha s to make a critical decision. 

#Reborn shoots Lambo in the head with a deathperate shot. Come on! I want to see it happen!!!

#Habari Gets another chance at Mukuro, Reborn, and Bites Tsuna to death. 

#Dino making an appearance. 

#Possibly a slight age difference

#Possibly their next major boss in the past not bound to the original 7^3 policy ruled. 

#7^3 policy has been revised due to the mare ring holder disintegrating (7^2). Policy itself recreated another third with a different set of rules. 

#A revival of the series
