REBORN!

Summary:
Tsunayoshi Sawada, a no-good boy, one day comes home, greeted by a little baby mafioso, Reborn, who apparently is his new home tutor. His job is to guide Tsuna into his role as the 10th Boss of the Vongola family, so the wish from the 9th. With the help of all his new friends and an array of special items such as the "Dying Will Bullet", he might just be able to do it.
Meeting new friends and fiends, become stronger, no one can stop Tsuna him, right?

Well, were should I start. I saw some pictures from Reborn and heard from some people of it, but I wasnt really interested. Then, beginning of the month may, I watched the first episode and was really suprised. I started to watch all episodes 'til yesterday and now Im waiting for the next one. So, as you can think, it is really an amazing anime and I couldnt stop watching.
On the one hand it is really funny and stupid (like Tsuna in his underwear), but on the other hand it is thrilling and full of action. It is admirable how this young people can fight and their will to do something.
Sometimes there might be scenes you dont like, but well, it is always like this. For e.g. me, I don't like the love in animes and mangas, just like here. It really annoys me, but I think it is funny too.
But therefore I even like the scenes with the gloomy Hibari and animals.
The characters, the music and storyline do all fit together .... depending on all points maybe thats the reason why now, after not even one month, it is my favorite anime next to Prince of Tennis.
I think, if you really love to laugh, especially about silly things, like a boy in his underwear going through the city, young boys fighting against stronger ones and giving their best and a mafia family which grows together, then you should watch Katekyō Hitman Reborn!

Quick Summary

Tsunayoshi Sawada isn't very popular. Not athletic, or very smart. He's called "Dame-Tsuna" or no-good Tsuna. So one day, his mother hires a tutor for him. He finds out his tutor is a baby who tells Tsuna he's going to be the 10th boss of the Vongola Famiglia. His tutor, Reborn, trains him to be the next mafia boss, along the way, Tsuna meets a bunch of friends who help him get stronger and together they form the Vongola Famiglia! Ironically, despite being in the mafia, they have yet to do something illegal. XD

Actual Review

Reborn is the best thing since sliced bread. If you haven't watched/read this series yet, your life must be pretty empty. Reborn will change your life forever... Well maybe not to that extreme, but I am completely in love with this series. This show is incredibly funny, it's not a typical shounen. You expect a main character who just godmods, being a prodigy, having some special ability, or something, but that's not Tsuna. Tsuna's one of the few main characters I like. Akira Amano, the creator, is a complete god. You should go worship her. All the characters in reborn are truly their own person, with their own personality and everything. Each with a unique background and attitude. Just like any long-term shounen, there's different plots. I can't explain all of them in the summary, but when you watch this series you'll understand.

I just realized I didn't talk about the dying will bullet at all. XD The dying will bullet basically makes a person jump out of their clothes and run around with fire on their head. Pretty shweet. This series is really popular, and full of awesomeness.

I command you to watch this series. It will improve the quality of your life, and to some who watch this, it could even spice up math class for you! Akira Amano is a complete god, and the manga is even better than the anime, but both are almost equal in awesomeness.

This series is your destiny. You must meet your destiny and fulfill the prophecy. You shall NOT regret watching this series.

Its hard to write critically about something one is absolutely in love with, especially when the rest of the fandom is also completely in love with it, but I'll try my best.

Firstly, its pretty hard to convince people to actually start watching this. Please look at exhibit A (the original Reborn! icon), the poster boy for Reborn! is Sawada Tsunayoshi who's a)useless or when under the influence of the Deathperation shot b)ridiculous, naked and loud. The beginning of the anime is basically like that - mundane and slightly repetitive one minute and insanely crazy to the point of annoyance the next. The sub-par animation (the legendary episode 5) and unintentionally hilariously bad voice acting also doesn't help. However even early in the series the character designs are already distinctive so if all else fails, you can at least go 'awww Reborn looks so cute'

But the more innocuous the beginning, the more surprising the rewards.

At around episode 20 the anime starts entering 'serious business' territory and its here that the anime truly shines. Since you've already spent 19 episodes checking out the antics of Tsuna and co. when they get really seriously injured you feel a much greater concern than if they destroy the world in the first episode (which every anime seems to do...). Remember 'Useless Tsuna'? Well...watch and cheer as he turns into a badass. The introduction of Mukuro and his band of villians is another highlight - villians who uses brains rather than 'my sword is bigger than ur sword n00b'?! I must be dreaming.

Not wanting to spoil more lets just say it only gets better from there. There's a great sense of suspense as unexpected plot twists plays out and yet at the same time the crazy sense of humour remains. The characters all have attractive/distinctive designs (as the huge amount of fan arts can testisfy) and the main cast gets lots of developement but still keeps their endearing traits. Animation and voices has also vastly improved and whilst not stellar, is at least consistently effective.

If you are still hesitating about starting this, I urge you to consider this: why does there not seem to be reborn haters while Naruto haters and bleach haters abound? Its probably because everyone who saw this fell in love and became a fan.

Did I forget to mention the music? Well, lets just say that Hibari's entrance music pwns.

KHR! is a definitely nice show that is full of comedy, shounen and some other things. If people watch Eyeshield 21, they should watch the main character right here in KHR!. Both Sena and Tsuna are very similar; in behaviour and appearance ONLY. In their separate worlds, they face challenges and slowly mature and puts other above themselves. If Sena is labelled 21, Tsuna is labelled 27 because of his name as
'Tsu' sounds like 2 and Na is short for nana which means seven.
When I first saw this anime, particularly episode 19 on a channel, it looked interesting. But you know, I pretty didn't like the Dying Will Bullet part. I feel embarrassed looking at such stuff, but lately I try to look at it. At first it may look boring, but on episode 20 forward it gets interesting. By episode 40, you're hooked. On Youtube, I find many people commenting that they cannot leave the computer because they like the show ALOT.
Compared to Naruto and Bleach, I find Katekyo Hitman Reborn! more nicer and awesome than the latter. Reading the manga helps you know what will happen soon in the anime but not good to spoil it for people. People hate it when you spoil it because they could never expect what could happen and you cannot tell them. I like Akira Amano's way of surprising people with story twists, and unexpected things. Most stories have either prodigies, good or weak characters as the main character. For KHR, Tsuna is the non-athletic and not-smart No-Good Tsuna, and it totally is different from other stories.
The characters, Reborn, Gokudera, Yamamoto and others are awesome. Their behaviours are different, like Reborn's funny side that says things that go out of the question and Gokudera's rebellious yet behind it he's smart and loyal. Yamamoto is cheerful but don't really know what's going on, a really good character. And, there's this prefect that sounds inhuman, Hibari Kyoya, is pretty much more different than the average character that teases the main character(Example is Kanda from D.Gray-man)
Another is Sasagawa Ryohei, brother of Sasagawa Kyoko, who is Tsuna's crush. Ryohei, the boxing freak, always likes boxing and tries to get people into his boxing club. He still cares for his little sister too. All the characters do have distinct personalities. Lambo, the annoying cow, is arrogant but a real crybaby. I rather not comment on him anymore, for his seiyuu is the seiyuu for Naruto.
Well, for the most, it is likely for people to like the show because of its light-hearted nature(hence the lack of blood after the Mukuro Arc) and comedy effect. Also, this lucky popular anime has not been dubbed, which is why many people uploads tons of english subbed episodes for you to see. I found this anime a lot more interesting than any other anime I watched.
It's so fun to watch that I always review it.
Well but, I hate when the main character transformed into Dying Will mode, somehow.
But for the most part, it's really awesome and incredible.
Especially when the main character at the hyper dying will mode, it gives me chills and kinda exciting.
For the first time, this is the best anime I've ever watched.
I wish it for longer-ending episodes so we can watch this awesome anime longer.

first words- I first heard of Reborn in Ocotober 2006 I was browsing the manga section at the anime corner store, and I came upon a new Shonen Jump series with a mafia baby on the cover. At first I passes it of as another Naruto or Bleach. But then in June 2008 I decided to watch the anime and I fell in love. This has become my fave anime of all time
story- A Basiclly boy lozer boy meets extraodinary kid who will turn him into a mafia boss. (who does not like that) Seriously this is one of the best anime plots I have ever seen. We dont get a hero who has a talent but will aquire one in the future. Tsuna goes from your average lozer into an awsome kid who kicks but.
charachters- A+ the best part of the whole series. We have a lozer, a bishie tsundere, a bishie atletae, an ice boy, the girl of the heros dreams, the cutie next door, suave bishie villian. And my persoanlal fave the Varia, In have become a big fan of Squalo, Belphegor, and Xanxus. I love the charachters so much, my walls are covered in pics of them.
music- A perfect and fits each scene appriopitly. I even have the soundtrack on my ipod. I really like jazz so the jazz on the soundtrack is really catchy.
overall- A+ If you are tired of eroge or visual novel based anime, or need something new this is the perfect anime for you.
