REBORN!

Reborn! is a great show that I must recommend to everyone. The storyline is great and follows the manga closely. In the beginning the storyline moves at slow pace, but after you get through a couple of episodes you get to see many great episodes that flow together nicely. The show is filled with humor, but also has a lot of jam packed action scenes that you will be blown away with. After a while you will be addicted to this anime and just plain out love it.

Tsunayoshi Sawada isn't very popular. Not athletic, or very smart. He's called "Dame-Tsuna" or no-good Tsuna. So one day, his mother hires a tutor for him. He finds out his tutor is a baby who tells Tsuna he's going to be the 10th boss of the Vongola Famiglia. His tutor, Reborn, trains him to be the next mafia boss, along the way, Tsuna meets a bunch of friends who help him get stronger and together they form the Vongola Famiglia! Ironically, despite being in the mafia, they have yet to do something illegal.

This was pretty slow to start off with, and I normally don't wait 20 episodes to see if something substantial will happen in a series, but honestly the characters are so appealing that I think it was worth the wait. Now that things are starting to happen, I can't wait to see where the plot will go in this one. I also love the references to Italian culture ( I am Italian, and although I do not condone organized crime, I can appreciate the baby corrone gangster sipping espresso every now and again....). Overall, this show is funny, cute, romantic, action packed, and interesting enough to watch for an extended period of time. Everything an anime should be, I totally approve.

Intro: Alright I'll start off with this. YOU HAVE TO WATCH THIS ANIME. OR READ THE MANGA. IT WILL CHANGE YOUR LIFE. Well not to that extent but something very close. I have watched all the way to Episode 169 and right now I can say THIS IS THE BEST ANIME. Now for the actual review

Summary (READ SPOILERS AT OWN RISK): Alright so the show goes off with this teenager called Sawada Tsunayoshi, instead of the usual "chosen one" or some other person with some sort of super power this character is the complete opposite from what you expect him to be. He is called "No Good Tsuna" He is not athletic, not good with girls, not good at making friends pretty much not good at anything. But he must become the 10th boss of one of the biggest mafia on the planet. A Kateikyoushi or Home Tutor comes to help him along the way. Although looking like a baby he is one of the most strongest and smartest people in the world. He is an Arcobaleno. Not gonna tell you what that is or it'll ruin it for you. He meets friends along the way who will help him in his adventure and through this he will venture on to even tougher goals. For the people that wants to know more and wants quick info about the first 40 or so episodes here it is. Read it at your own risk.

ACTUAL REVIEW: Now that's out of the way we'll move on to the actual review. Let's start with the storyline.

Storyline: I personally think this is a very indepth storyline which is very unique and interesting. The concepts of the anime is amazing and very creative. Something called a "Dying-Will" Bullet. What this bullet does is it makes the person do whatever they regret right before they get shot by the bullet. Later on there are even more unique things more weapons and etc click it if you can't wait to know The storyline has TONS of twists and turns along the way. This anime is outright hilarious, for once I actually LIKE fillers. Every time I watch an episode I always laugh or smile a few times. Especially on the really funny ones I just burst out laughing. There are some very shocking twists along the way that you never see coming. The first 20 episodes are a bit of an introduction to the anime. Do not be let down by it if you don't like it. The action gets very intense and the story progresses much quicker and is an exciting adventure. It gets better and better and as you keep going you just can't stop watching or reading.

Music: Ok, I shoulda gave the music a 5 star but I accidentally clicked it at 4.5/5 Aw well as long as you know the songs in this anime are awesome and the OST especially. All the openings are great to watch and the music fits into every scene perfectly, building up tension. There is nothing more to say other than that the music is just awesome in this anime.

Characters: ALRIGHT this has to be one of the best aspects in KHR. Each character is unique and different from any other character you may have ever seen. Tsuna is just no good and is just a great character to watch; funny too. Gokudera, what else can I say worshiper to Tsuna but mean to basically everyone else and calls Lambo stupid cow and Yamamoto baseball idiot haha. Lambo is a little guy that's 5 years old. Everything about him is great. He's annoying at times but he can also be hilarious and cute too. Yamamoto, a baseball idiot enough said. Ryohei, EXTREEEEMMMEEE haha you'll get it if you watched the anime. One of the trademark things about him and this show. He's very unique, unlike anything I've ever seen and is fun to watch. Can't tell you much more since they would be kinda spoilers but all the characters in this anime are great.

Animation: This anime is nice to watch. Nothing wrong with the faces or bodies 99% of the time and the quality really depends on the video you're watching. No problems here all very nicely animated and well drawn.

Bottom Line: Thank you for all the people who have actually read this far. All I can say is go and watch this anime. It's epic, hilarious, and sometimes very sad. GO NOW!!! OR YOU WILL REGRET IT IF YOU DON'T WATCH IT.

First of all, it has every genre one could ask for, whether it is supernatural powers, romance, drama, etc. The beginning of this series starts at a slow pace. This is possibly due to character development. I was having a hard time getting used to the titular character, Reborn, mainly because, who can imagine a super powered baby? You only expect things like these in movies such as Kung Pow (http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0240468/). Regardless, I was having a blast. Why? It seemed unique, so I thought I'd give it a chance.

The comedy may not match everybody's taste. For example, Lambo is a 5 year old child. Each time he enters a scene, no matter what the situation, comedy takes over. However, you may not tolerate this humor for long. In addition, there are supporting characters whose interactions between one another become routine. To me, it's one of the best comedy I have ever experienced. You may roll your eyes during the first few episodes, but once the show picks up on action, drama episodes, you'll appreciate that humor. It's subtle, yet powerful.

Next point, visuals. Character design is excellent. The good thing is that, it'll be easier to cosplay characters from this series since they don't have unearthly hairstyles and so forth. Action scenes look sharp.

Next are voice overs and music. The opening and ending themes may disappoint, but the background themes raise goosebumps, depending on the situation of course. They bring any and all inspiring moments to life. The voice overs deserve some sort of highly regarded award. This series characters have one of the best voices I have ever heard. They all sound befitting. A special mention must be dedicated to Junko Takeuchi (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Junko_Takeuchi), who does voice over for Uzumaki Naruto as well, Hidekazu Ichinose, Gokudera's voice over, and finally, Child Reborn's voice over, Neeko.

The plot line of this anime is unique. Upon reading the plot before watching, you may think this anime is political, and it is, but the protagonist is quite a typical one, resembling protagonists of series such as DBZ (Goku), etc. Fighting and gaining power is the last thing in his unorganized agenda. But that soon changes when his life is manipulated, seemingly, by a toddler. As his new life gains momentum, other characters fall into place, burdened with significant roles.

All in all, I highly recommend this anime to anyone with any taste. Give it a shot, or you'll regret missing one of the best anime ever made!!

Overall
Overall, Reborn is a pretty solid series. I personally don't think it's great, but it's good. One of my complaints is that it's dumbed down compared to the manga. I know they changed it up a little to make it more kid-friendly, but it lost some of its spunk. I recommend reading the manga, but the anime is pretty close.

Storyline
The story in Reborn starts off a little slow, then seems to grow exponentially when the first arc starts. Currently in its 3rd arc, the series has really turned into something else. The story has gotten more interesting, but I feel like it's really different from the way it started.

Music
The music is okay. Nothing too special. There area few songs that I like and the background music is okay. The music in Reborn seems to be a little inconsistent. Sometimes it's cool, and sometimes it's just whatevers.

Characters
The characters are okay. You get to know most of them, but they seem fairly one-dimensional. Teenage girls seem to love them though.

Animation
The animation is okay. I was a little disappointed after reading the manga. The action scenes could have been animated better. Fight scenes in the openings seem to be animated better than fight scenes in the actual anime.

After much thought, I will try to write a review for this series which I love a lot... Probably a bit too much. Anyways...

To those new to Katekyo Hitman Reborn! (more commonly as Reborn! by Viz Media and KHR by fans), the series might be weird at first because not much action appears in the beginning. Only what you would call slap-stick comedy appeared frequently in the story. I, personally, found this series to be quite repetative at first but since I was bored during the summer and that a friend of mine really liked it, I decided to watch on.

In what you would call the Daily Life arcs of Reborn!, you won't see a baby hitman who arrives at your house one day and tells you you are the next mafia boss right? Or get shot with a dying will or deathperation bullet in the head right? Even though this may seem bad for little kids to watch. Did I mention you get stripped down to your under clothes? Probably not since that's the world of anime; but in that world, a boy by the name of Sawada Tsunayoshi AKA "Tsuna", has to endure this everyday, and I mean everyday. Before that however, Tsuna lived a loser life. He can't do anything right nor get good grades, hence to why he's called "Dame Tsuna (No good Tsuna)". Then a baby hitman, Reborn, who is also a Arcobaleno, the seven strongest babies in the mafia world, happens to crash in to Tsuna's life and turns it upside down. Even though Reborn may look like a cruel and cold-hearted home tutor, he tries to do what's best for Tsuna. After Reborn came into his life, Tsuna began to meet more friends in very odd ways. He befriended Kyoko, who thought that whole thing of him confessing in his boxers was a huge joke, after he showed Mochida a thing or two with his dying will; Haru is just one unique girl, i have nothing bad nor good to say about her. Then Gokudera and Yamamoto after a bomb shower. Then Ryohei after a boxing tournament? Lambo popped in from nowhere then comes along I-Pin and Fuuta. Bianchi came for the sake of her brother. Hibari well...

The storyline seems very interesting doesn't it? When you get to the Kokuyo Arc, Tsuna and Co. prepare for the first fight of their lives. During this part of the series, Tsuna discovers his "true self" and this isn't Shugo Chara or Persona... And as you proceed along, to the Varia Arc and the Future Arc, you see the characters develop along the way even if you don't notice it. This series, I believe that to be better than Naruto and Bleach combined. It is very unique, the use of the mafia, the concept of dying will flames, the future, box weapons, and the like make this story a great must see. Though you can always watch the first epsiode and then skip to episode 13 or something.

The characters in my opinion are very unique. If you have paid some attention, you will see that in almost every mafia family, there is bound to be someone who is very loyal to their boss, someone who is very loud or annoying, someone who is happy-go-lucky, someone whom you don't know too much about, someone who doesn't give a damn about anyone, and someone who just stands out or "weird". You can say that most of the guys are pretty good looking, and the girls are somewhat a bit annoying. I have known people to hate Kyoko and Haru, but I have nothing to say about it. There is also a huge cast in Reborn. Even with the addition of characters, the story still has its funny times, even when the time is bad. Comic relief is actually good in this series, this will drive us away from the thought of the good side losing.

Even if you don't like the series, you can still love the openings and endings, animation and song alike. The songs will make you tap your foot, or move to the beat or something. The lyrics are also very nice and meaningful. This might give you something to pass time with. When I hear some of these songs, I think back on the things that happened to me. The background music you can play during a moment of randomness in life. The music for this series just fits in for some reason.

Overall, if you want something out of the ordinary then take some of your time to watch this series. Even if this doesn't give much excitement to you, take a look at all the fans out there who do love this series, me included. If this series wasn't good then there wouldn't be many people watching this or reading this in Japan, merchandise, and even cosplayers. But that's my opinion you have yours. I would've wrote more, but I don't want to tl;dr (too long; didn't read) this. Sorry if this doesn't give much but I hope you will enjoy this series. From a scale of 1-10, I give this a 100. In my defense, this series is just too awesome.

Overall : I give it 5 stars.I'm a total Reborn retard ._. It's really interesting (crazy) with tons of fanserive for any kind of fangirl,and with enough violence to satisfy the male watchers.

Storyline : It's really good.The way the mangaka gives depth to her characters is amazing and I love how the story has been going so far.Keep up the good work Amano-sensei! It would be better if the story had a more serious tone,it's mafia after all.

Music : I'm not just referring to the opening and ending songs.The character songs are beautiful too.

Characters : Like I said,great depths in the characters and all that hotness gives this something worth so MUCH MORE than 5 stars.

Animation : Not bad.The manga has better art though.
