@lilazbnboi9289 it is a sign of innocence that has long since been lost by older characters, often times the children in anime like this present the older characters a memory or a reason to continue. Also the children can spawn plot twists

MMXD, Athena is the goddess of, among other things, female art. It would be very strange for her to be born a man. In mythology she was also one of the more violent goddesses, so I find it odd that they cast her as so passive here.
