It was so sad hearing that nobody noticing her throughout her life unless she did something to be notice by somebody but the Mahjong gave her second chance at life or communication to be more speific. That was a sweet episode.
Does anyone else feel that saki, the titular character, has had almost zero screen time since like episode 4 despite seemingly being the main character. Is it me or is that just wierd.
Its a cultural thing. In high population areas you deal with too many people so you tune some out. They can make it easier to be tuned out and become invisible ... then they are often hit by a car. I guess its better than "fan death."
Presence lowering? Normally you can only presence lower stuff you are in contact with though. And in addition, you normally can't do that if people know you are there. So her power is supernatural level. Seems excessive strangeness.
really, but then again I think that a lot of the wins in this series can't be made in real life when you consider the fact that the games move so quickly. In reality these games can last hours...
Awesome. It's funny, she stood out to me in the opening credits of the first episode, and I've been intrigued ever since. A wonderfully interesting character.
she's not a ghost... she's the opposite of a person that stands out. She's so "plain" that people tend to overlook her... but in this cartoon they take it to extremes... like making her presence and the presence of tiles vanish.
I liked it that they stir the action away from the major players. The surprise of the unknown players stealing the stage makes it more unpredictable = more surprises and fun.
