  • If you watch this anime from beginning to end you won't regret it
The drawing may seem boring but do not be deceived - this anime has a story to tell and I really loved it. I find the idea of a popular guy falling in love with an ordinary girl fascinating. And I am not just being generous with my rating - in my opinion, it really deserved 5 stars! This is an anime I would highly recommend!

    Meh. Complete brain melter.
Tepid, painfully maudlin and sappy. This one did not work for me- I kept on wanting to get out and push, because it kept on running out of gas and stalling.

I've seen worse, but... that's not a compliment.

  • Nuanced and wonderfully presented
Beautifully done; capturing the joy, sorrow, and awkwardness of youth.

  • 5 stars can't explain how relateable and awesome this anime is
If every shoujo anime was like this, I would be a complete shoujo fanatic.

Tachibana Mei is a high schooler with no friends, due to the bullying she suffered years before. She likes it that way, thinking she doesn't need friends, let alone a boyfriend. She mets Yamato, a popular guy at her school. (IN A VERY UNUSUAL WAY)
    Then stuff happens.

This description alone can't express the love I ...

  • Sweetest and Most Relatable Slice-of-Life I've Ever Watched
I just love the stories behind each character. It may not have been the exact situations as them, but there were times when I went through what they did. I'm, pretty sure, it still happens to me today. Very sweet and romantic, it even got my own heart pounding throughout the series. Yamato is such a sweetheart, and I can't say that enough. x3 Highly recommend to others to watch this.

    Nothing Special, But Very Cute
Say "I love you" is a pretty straightforward shoujou anime title. We've seen it before. The plain, shy girl at school starts interacting with the happy-go-lucky prettyboy. Little does she know, he's into her! Once she gets over her inability to imagine having a relationship with somebody of the opposite sex, she realizes - maybe she's into him too! From there, things go about how you'd ...

  • Fresh perspective on real life relationships
I absolutely loved this anime. The main character is very relatable and i completely understood where she was coming from and why she was feeling like she was. the stories of people around them were a wonderful treat. i think everyone in high school struggles, these were the stories of those who struggle silently.

  • Very sweet and cute ! <3
This anime is VERY good . I am mainly a shounen person but I loved this anime. I deffinetly reccomend it. One problem for most shoujo's for me is that they are too boring or just typical . It's like listening to the same song a million times but this one was unique . it has a relatable story that is very cute and interesting . i could not stop watching this one to the very end . just take my ...

  • Excellent, gripping and heart hitting series
Definitely one of my favourite anime series. This series touches on a number of different real life situations, which at the time I could relate to heavily. There were a lot of times where I felt like I was actually a character within the show, and I was experiencing the same emotions as the characters. The story progresses at a nice pace, and goes from each end of the spectrum wonderfully. Easy ...
