The amount of feels this anime gave me.
I can't even begin to describe the feelings this anime gave me. It made me laugh, it made me cry, it made me feel sorrow, and it made me feel love. The character's in this short series are very well developed and I feel the creator did an amazing job. The story itself is just so surreal that I feel like I can relate to it in many ways. A must see.

    It's...okay. Needs better character development.
Personally, I could never quite warm up to the main characters in this. I think I know what Mei was supposed to be (shy, guarded, inexperienced, sensitive but with an inner strength or integrity) but that's not what's actually portrayed through her actions. She's sort of childish, moody, antisocial, and inconsistent. The word inconsistent pretty much sums up everything about Yamato, and all of the ...

    Heart Warming Awesome
The art, genre, plot, characters, music- I love them all.
It follows the manga (so far...) and I wonder how the end will turn out.
It's really a touching series, and I love the relationship between Mei and Yamato.
I really recommend watching the series. The romance here is awesome, and the ups and downs of the relationship makes the story more epic.

    Realistic, Romantic, and Fun
Roundabout kicks, laughs, and even tears can be easily seen in the successful anime Say “I love you” which is based on Hazuki Kanae’s shōjo manga Sukitte li na yo. The anime is now available in Crunchy Roll’s Fall 2012 simulcast list. Fortunately for us, we don’t have to wait until the last episode of this romantic high school drama to watch the “first kiss” between the main characters. Say “I ...

I can't tell if its better than my little monster!
I think I've actually read this before---but just a few episodes in and I can tell the anime is fantastic. It makes you cringe so flawlessly and naturally. It's cute, in some ways obvious, but also very surprising! Perfect for any shogo-lover, and even better for someone just looking for a romantic anime to wind down to. Enjoy

IT COULD HAVE BEEN 5 STARS
The beginning started off great and intriguing but I felt like as the series went on the two main characters weren't getting as much screen time as I would have liked, and the screen time that they did get, they were almost repeating the same little small talk conversations. This series had potential but didn't live up to what it could have been but, as a whole it was still a good series. ...

    My all time favourite anime
This anime will always hold a special place in my heart. Say "I love you" is so cute, I found the characters were well developed and so was the story. The anime shared deep meanings and insights about relationships and love. Even the theme song was so good, the music and lyrics are well written. The artwork on the characters and setting in this show were designed beautifully and I really enjoyed ...

Over used plot devices, self-inserts, cliches, blaah.
If you're looking for an aesthetically pleasing romance with a female protagonist you can smoothly self-insert to, you might enjoy this. I can definitely appreciate it for that. Don't expect to be impressed, however.

It's hard to get really into the anime because the main characters feel like cliche tropes or rather, oddly perfect. That might sound weird, but lemme explain - the protagonist is ...
