this is one piece of work i can tell you...

Storyline: the storyline was pretty impressive although some parts of it were weird and irrelevant. it decieves you right from the start from being a happy go lucky anime into an unforgettable ending...which has personally been stuck into my mind. But in my opinion i'm quite happy with the twist at the end because it shows that even an anime cannot finish on a good note

music: the music was awesome to say the least...especially the ending song("Kanashimi No Mukou He" - Itou Kanako)...it fits so perfectly at the end and will always stick into my mind...i cannot hear that without thinking of the ending and how sad it was...just on that along it really became such an epic ending...which i have to say almost made me shed a tear =P

characters:

animation: from a person who has only started to get back to anime(yes this was the first one ive watched in over a year and it was the wrong one to choose but hey!? how would i know it would turn out that way =P) it's quite slick and well done...the ending was graphic( i'll wont say how it is but it is!!! and you'll be surprised =P)
overall: its one of the great tragic animes of all time in my opinion and to show it within 12 episodes is quite amazing...it really gets to you and after i finished one episode i was compelled to watch the next one!...not for the faint hearted =P

And I'd like to say, I do curse on this, but why would little kids be watching this stuff? Little 10 year old want a bit of ecchi in their lives? Haha doubt it.

Brief Thoughts
Worst one ever, it looks like something that came out of Maury or Jerry Springer. I noticed that at like 5 eps in. I just briefly looked at some of the reviews and seems like everyone enjoyed it but me. I personally found it too cliché and the boy was thinking with his penis. I got that idea from thoese youtube videos. I've forgotton what they're called anyway. But my thoughts from a few eps in was"What would penis do?" and continued to watch the rest of the ep.

Deeper into the story line
It starts off as a cliché boy meets girl story. Another girl acts like a catalyst (speeds things up) and sets them up together. Boy gets aroused (and I'm not trying to be vulgar or anything, it's just how I see it) by the first girl and was going too fast. So as he goes home, boom! The catalyst kisses him near the end of the ep. Nothing goes through his head but that. And so the next day he's back with the first girl and tries to make it work, but is once again too touchy feely.

Catalyst talks to his supposed 'girlfriend' about whether his 'girlfriend' is going to go have sex with her, she says she's not sure... BOOM! Catalyst girl goes and has sex with Makoto! Catalyst girl being Sekai, and Makoto's girlfriend being Katonoha... So let's go back to the first question. What would penis do? Penis says SEX SEX SEX SEX SEX! Slowly this turns into affection, false affection on Makoto's behalf. After that things really get out of hands.

So what would penis do? Penis gets attention, and has sex with 6 girls in total, not even Katonoha his supposed 'girlfriend' who he supposedly breaks up with, without her knowing of course! So it's exactly the type of thing you'd expect off Maury.


Some people say that it's kinda more realistic about school. HELL NO! "Let's go try it out with Makoto, I wonder what it's like doing him!" FACEPALM! No one is really that stupid, not that I know of anyway. And even weirder, he lets all 3 have a go at him at the same time! Penis is happy now! 6 girls with in a year, and they're still kids. I'm not sure how fast the anime goes but it only feels like 1 month or something. And one pretends to be pregnant with his baby, I wonder who? Of course I know but I'm trying not to spoil. But it's quite cliché.

Characters
Makoto - Man whore. Not much to say other than that.
Katonoha - Basically Mikuru from The Melochany of Haruhi Suzumiya. If you havn't watched MHS, She's big breasted, kinda shy and attractive.
Sekai - Starts off on the wild side, then after a while she becomes a woman. And she's fooled by penis.

They're the real main characters in my eyes, although Katonoha is kinda ignored a few eps through. So facepalm to that.

Other stuff
I didn't pay attention to the animation or music much. As I rember the music was quite mediocre, so was the animation when I come to think of it. As I didn't pay attention to that, I did pay attention to the art. The art wasn't that good, but concidering it was in 2007 when it was realised, I suppose it goes with the time. But I have seen better art. There is nice attention to the shadows, but sometimes it was just a tad overused.

Over all
Over all I find this anime to be very cliché, I have said it a few times, and it seems like a negative attitude but that's what I think. It's kinda like WELCOME TO CHEATERS'R'US -> FACPALM! I honestly just wanted to watch this because of the ecchi. There was barely any. The only thing I really enjoyed was the end. It made me laugh so much, I'm not going to say what it is cause it'll just spoil. Just take it that I sometimes have a very twisted sence of humour.

I wouldn't reccomend this anime. It's a bit *cough* stupid. Barely any ecchi for ecchi viewers. Just a few girl crotches.

Has a good storyline but i just don't think it was good to watch. this anime made me more angry than interested. anyway that's my opinion but if your into watching terrible dramas than by all means watch this anime. who ever thinks that it's normal for a guy to act like the main character, Makoto, than i'm sorry but you must be a weak willed person who likes to run from reality.

When I saw the first few episodes of this anime, I though this seems really good. But as i progressed I realised that the main character was a perverted a**hole who only thinks with his dick and has sex with every girl whose slighty willing. And also that the main girls in this story have some serious mental issues (ESPECIALLY KATSURA).

P.S.
I think Makoto got what he deserved inn the end, I don't support what Sekai did but i think she was right. (she didn't have to kill him though. That crazy beatch).

Story Summary

"Makoto Ito (Ito, Makoto)" The word "Katsura (wig that is)" is met when the school entrance ceremony 榊野. Makoto is a class next term, if you are attending from the same railroad, the train is reading a book at the same time of day. But be concerned, just looking from a distance .... However, there was that much.

Makoto is silly but I thought, listening to his words to meet mobile phone on the train. But in the same class seat next to a picture of Makoto idle screen reflected in such words "World Saionji (Did that make Ionji)" is exposed to. It was faint hope vanished in vain to start the first day spell, and had to apologize for waiting to see the world on their own, Makoto, to mediate between the two I'd like to support the relationship of words and Makoto the ....

It was boring daily life began to change from day Makoto.


website school days....

School days... what are the first thoughts comes into your head the moment you see this title? Well... my first impression.... ROMANCE. Admit, almost every school has one. Every teen is falling victim to it. Sometimes you get the wrong ideas once you're in love. Technically, this is what this anime is about.

It all began with a simple infatuation between Katsura Kotonoha and Itou Makoto. They end up being a thing, thanks to Saionji Sekai. Turns out, Sekai likes Makoto too. Later, Makoto begins to like Sekai too! Leaving Kotonoha heartbroken causing her to do an unexpected thing from someone very gentle, innocent and conservative!! Honestly, I was totally shock of what Kotonoha did. I never thought she would do such a terrible thing.

I was very disappointed with Makoto, actually. He did the most terrible sin on the dating book: Cheating. Well I guess I couldn't blame him, he was very confused himself. But that doesn't changed the fact that he cheated. After all, it seemed that dating his dream girl is not what he expects it to be. He could've talked it out like a real couple is suppose to do. But then again, Kotonoha keeps "running away". I guess it means one thing, Kotonoha is simply not yet ready to be intimate with someone. Makoto on the other hand, knew that she wasn't ready and had to fled off with Sekai since she lives up to his expectations more as a girlfriend! Man, I just hate it when that happens. Although Makoto did realized his mistake, which is a good thing, I guess. Also, Sekai liked Makoto. Why didn't she admit his feelings to him in the first place?? I guess things could've gotten better. There would still be problems, but not so complicated ones.

Also, I was not very much impress of the ending. Whether happy or sad it is... I am not fully impress. As you can see.... these characters already went to the negative side of love, in other words... a love that is selfish and it's almost like lust. Their desires are too strong that it went totally out of control leading to regrets and pain. Love is suppose to be honest, kind, gentle and all those positive attributes you can think of. It is not self-seeking, jealousy, and all negative that stuff. Sadly, this could really happen in reality. Who knows, maybe you know someone who killed somebody else all in the name love.

At the same time, I find it intriguing. I guess this anime represents as a warning, especially to the teens out there. It's telling us all that love is not suppose to be like that. And let me clarify one thing, the title is SCHOOL days. What is the purpose of school anyway? Of course, studies to pursue a better future! Not to find Mr/Mrs. Right. Well, I'm not saying dating is a bad thing, but what I'm saying that love at high school is not suppose to be our top priority. Besides, it does not hurt to have a little faith and wait for that right person.

School days is an anime that has a bittersweet love triangle that tells us that love is not to be self-seeked or it'll turmoil.
