  • Cute! I need a third season!
This wasn't my first BL but it's probably one of my favorites. It's made wrote by the same author as Junjo Romantica but I enjoyed this one much more. I think that even if you are not into BL you will like this, it's more shounen-ai than yaoi. The story was cute and the animation was great (for a BL anime) Only thing that I didn't like was that almost every character looked the same XD They had ...

    Could Reach past BL Fans!
I think this anime could reach past the crowd of just BL/Yaoi lovers to all romance anime junkies.

I originally picked this one up because of the good reviews regarding romance in the series. I think its a very good series to open up about "gayness" in pop culture. I find it a lot easier experience/be open gayness (I live in a very progressive area), now seeing any feelings as ...

Maybe I'd enjoy this more as a young teen...
I'm in my mid 20s and I watched this on a whim, just to see what the shounen-ai genre had to offer.

If you want to read about why it's good, read other reviews. The only thing I will say I enjoyed was the interesting view of how relationships between guys might be and how it's still mostly seen as forbidden in Japanese culture. Oh, and it'll make the lady parts tingle a little.

    However, ...

  • First BL I ever watched and I'm not disappointed
Likes: First of all, I liked the setting: queer individuals with their own problems and insecurities trying to juggle work and their personal lives. As an office worker I can say that the portrayal of daily work environment and relationships is very funny and realistic (personally I related to Onodera and how he feels/reacts to everything he faces at his new job ...

  • Loved this show, but...
I was worried that the boy/boy action was going to turn me off from the get go, but surprisingly it was the thing that kept me interested. [I do understand how that makes me sound creepy. I've accepted it. ] Yes, this was a homosexual romance, but it wasn't all... Queer as Folk [which just watching the first episode left me extremely uncomfortable, way too much sex, too little plot.] Also they are ...

  • 4.2 Stars - Cliche, But Endearing and Enjoyable Throughout
    Storyline 4.2/5
Been obsessed with yaoi/shounen ai recently, so I decided to give this a shot. It didn't disappoint. Although I personally loved this anime and was enjoying it throughout, it wasn't perfect. I understand that it's an anime, but some parts just felt too unrealistic to me. The start of each of the three couples' relationships seemed too easy. The phrase "I love you" seems to ...

This is a cute yaoi anime!
I really like the characters in this anime. I loved how some of them didn't want to confess their love to the other even though the other one loved them. There was a lot of moments when I was like "oh my god, my heart can't take this anymore!" If you like yaoi animes then this would be a perfect one for you.

    Dude come on really.
I'm going to be simple. Every male charter is ether character 1 or character 2 there is no difference in looks from protagonist to extra. They all look the same. I really can't tell who it is that's in the scene. I have to wait and see what the background is for me to tell which character it is, it's just crazy!

I enjoyed the series, but a few things bothered me.
Although Sekaiichi-Hatsukoi is intriguing with the whole boy love idea, I felt like I would be watching the same episode over and over with Ritsu and Takano. Takano repeatedly attempts to force himself onto Ritsu, and he recoils. This happens numerous times through out the series. There is weak character development. Ritsu has a hard time admitting his feelings for Takano, and never really does ...
