Shin Koihime Musou

To respond to the first reviewer, this anime is NOT just for girls. In fact, there are countless fan service panty shots or part naked and suggestive shots, so this anime would really be directed more for the guys. Also this anime is based from a hentai game, just like with many other anime with plenty of panty shots, so I think that in itself is self-explanatory. (And no, I do not play hentai games. I wikipedia anime titles and the anime I happened to come by has a mention of it being based of hentai games.)

On the more important note, this anime has already been completed a couple years ago, so it's nothing new in the anime market. It's a story during the Dynasty era following the adventures of a notorious female bandit-hunter along with her warrior companions that she will meet through the progression of the anime. Throughout their adventures, they fight the bandits/bad guys, but that's pretty much it. From the weapons to the very clothes the characters wear supposedly represents an aspect of the Dynasty era, and whether it is accurate or not I am not sure of.

Storyline:
The story consists of mainly action, companionship, friendship, and comedy spread around each episode. I gave the storyline 3/5 because there isn't much to the story other than fighting bad guys and seeing the characters' "slice-of-life". The episodes reflect a different part of their journey, so there isn't much inter-connection between each episode. However, it isn't boring enough to not watch the anime, but I wish there was more to the story to follow along with.

Music
Very subjective, but I didn't feel the music stood out enough to say I love it, nor hate it either. Everyone has their own preferences in music.

Characters
Main characters were fairly well developed, but not as much for the other characters. Since most of the anime revolves around the adventures of the main characters, there was simply not enough time spent for character development on the other characters. As for the main characters, it is pretty clear what their personality and character traits are.

Animation
The animation quality is pretty decent, and at the very least very well drawn out. I didn't see disproportions or the poorly done animated scenes. Animation quality is better than average, but not much more.

Overall
I found this anime somewhat enjoyable to watch, but I could've enjoyed it more if there was a better storyline behind it. If you like adventure/comedy, you might want to give this anime a shot. If you are expecting there to be romance, unfortunately there isn't any. Not all pretty girl anime involve romance. And if a good storyline is a must for you when watching anime, then look elsewhere.

What you see in shows , men are always the leads . But not in Shin Koihime Musou . The women are the leads . The progress of women as empowered beings has also impacted the world of anime. In Shin Koihime Musou, the anime presents a memorable all-female cast showcasing the ideal woman as one who is able-bodied, strong-willed, and above all, an intellect. Now , is this so far away from men ?

Shin Koihime Musou is an engaging anime that depicts the lives of six female warriors who unite in strength and ability to thwart the evils of grubby tyrants and bandits . This anime starts off in chaos : the number of bandits are rising , villagers are ill-treated , more orphans . The bandits are eventually outwitted and defeated by the buxom warriors (and a pet pig), which reinforces the progressive idea that women are just as brilliant and cunning, if not more so, than men.

In Koihime Musou , I supposed is the first season , there's only Aisha and Rin Rin as sisters . But now in Shin Koihime Musou , which I supposed is season 2 , Ryuubi adds in . Like how it is in The Romance Of The Three Kingdoms , there's three men that vowed brotherhood . Here , in Shin Koihime Musou , there's three women (1 kid ?) , vowed sisterhood .

I believe that not many people appreciate this kind of anime , but I have to point out that this anime has reached many people's Watch List !
