Good show, but find the BDs
Ok first off to the other reviewers that posted while the show was airing. This is how the show was aired in Japan, there is nothing Crunchy Roll could do about it. That being said, now that the uncensored BDs are out, it should probably be replaced.

This review is based off the show, not whining because it's censored.

The show is pretty good for one so full of fan service. What sets this ...

Adult anime that sensors nudity (breasts) in an attempt to make it more teen friendly but fails
The innuendos are all still there with the plot ultimately being a openly horny teen who has his hornyness sucked out of him for the sake of powering a soul reaper. Now the viewers moral view on this aside; it is a action comedy.

Not for any children who you (the good parents reading reviews before they allow their child to watch) can't or don't want to explain what sexual arousal is. If you ...

Great anime but Japanese censorship did more cencoring then they needed to.
Stop complaining about the censorship. this wasn't crunchyrolls doing it is the anime network in japan.

though many people would like to believe Japanese are carefree, they have strict laws involving what can and can't be shown this causes most legal porn and hentai and ecchi anime to have censors. Due to this most releases, including manga have at least some censorship and try to push the ...

    Horrible application of censorship
I could not even force myself to watch more than an episode of this anime completely in part because of the censorship. Half the time i couldn't even see anything because they took a giant black bar and covered the entire screen. This is typical Ecchi... I pay for this service and am happy to help out the industry... i do NOT pay for half of the anime to be blacked out because some people think it ...

Star Rating is for the way the show was handled.
Boku-H is a show about using sexual energy, and is filled with nudity, boob-grabbing, and other things children shouldn't be watching. You only watch a show like this -for- that reason. It is one thing to censor the show. Put the little black bar over the breasts, or that annoying mosaic, but when you literally black out most of the screen, it makes people wonder why they are watching the show in ...

    What's Wrong With Censorship??
I'm just one of the many kids that watch anime on crunchyroll. I wanted to watch an anime wih girls squirting acids out of their boobs, for fighting!! I don't remember it, but my Dad said no and I learned "why" recently. I don't remember watching it, I remember growing up, seeing it on the shelf as I grow up, thinking "I'm going to watch that anime! Someday!". Excuse me, but I'm ...

We get it. It's censored, but SO WHAT?!
(I interrupt this review for a quick l'il rant.) I wasn't planning on writing a review of this anime, but the unreviews on here got my dander up. Yes,it's censored and so the hell what? What kind of idiot are you to think ecchi animes run on Japanese tv uncensored? I mean they even censor their porn that's rented, why wouldn't they censor a tv show? Just like in the US and any nation that might ...

Who doesn't love super sexy romances
I started watching this anime simply to see what it was and ended up really enjoying it. I doubt there will be a second season but I would definitely watch it.

Not to keep on the censorship path since I understand it but honestly was it necessary?

Censorship on Cruncyroll. Whose fault is it?
Ecchi anime is censored for TV broadcast in Japan. The DVD / Blue Ray versions are uncensored. So, if you want to see the show uncensored, buy the DVD/BD version when it goes on sale. Crunchyroll streams the anime, just the way it was broadcast on Japanese TV, because that's how it was presented to Crunchyroll for simulcast.

Now, before you get mad at Japanese censorship laws, just ask ...

Censorship: Defeating the purpose of Crunchyroll
Generally speaking, if you enjoy light hearted, somewhat wacky anime, you probably won't be disappointed. The whole experience is however ruined by the absurd level of censorship.

Granted, this is ecchi. So the question that has to be asked that if this amount of censorship (occasionally obscuring half the screen) is necessary for Crunchyroll, why is it available here in the first place? An age ...
