Rio is my favorite.. :c Wish she didn't have to go. And the old lady's story was so sad. Sometimes I forget that it's hard being the 'other woman' too.

Heh, it was touching and actually did come out pretty well. I feel like there IS a connection between everyone, and they built the feelings up from scratch and made it work beautifully. They might not be full soldiers, but they ARE friends.

I don't really think any of these girls are cut out to be soldiers apart from Rio and Noel. Kanata cries for no reason and she's too loud and emotional. Nevertheless this was a very touching episode.

Wasn't really that sad, we barely knew the old lady so there was no real emotional connection. There was also the fact that it's nearly impossible to emphasize with th main characters since a real connection was never established

I don't normally cry watching anime, but this nearly brought me to tears. This story is so incredibly beautiful. I wish there was more then 12 episodes. I don't want this story to end.
