  • ~So funny and cute for a squid girl
A really great slice of life type anime. If your in that type of stuff, each character has a unique personality (especially Squid Girl) and, will never tire you out for a minute. While each episode takes you along in their fun yet bizarre adventures. A perfect anime if you want to crack a smile or have a good laugh.

Loved it good fun for all ages!
If you liked Sgt.Frog you'll like this series also just good clean fun and the squid puns are great I've watched both seasons and really hope their is a season three. Squiddie comes from the sea to inkvade the surface dwellers and try to keep them from polluting the ocean any more than they have but finds herself ill equipped to handle such a major task and the fun begins when she damages a beach ...

  • A Delightful Experience Suitable For Younger Anime Fans
From the depths of the ocean comes an energetic, light comedy adaptation of the manga of the same name. Squid Girl is a slice-of-life that centers itself around a blue, tentacle haired girl who has arisen from the bottom of the sea to enslave humanity with her calamarian might. But, does her plan fall through?

    Story:

As stated earlier, the story is about Squid Girl, a young ...

    So...many ...Squid puns... YA-HOO!
Squidilly-dee Squidilly- Doo Basically the typical failing "invader" type anime however Squid girl manages to have it's own characters of normal and abnormal and physical slapstick comedy all manages to be funny and memorable, with each episode.
As well as having two to three 3-7 min stories in an episode like those old looney tunes episodes. allowing even those with A.D.D. to possibly enjoy. ...

  • Squid Girl, the Spongebob of Anime degeso.
This is a comedy/slice of life anime at is finest. The characters were very likable (well most of them) and the plot is basically non existence, which is just what you want on a comedy show like this one. The characters were not your typical cliched slice of life characters like you would see in K-on. This anime just follows the average, yet insane life of Squid Girl working at a seashore ...

  • A Cuite and Beautiful Slice of Life :D
I love this slice of life. Squid Girl is so confident and innocent. Watching here learn new aspects of life whilst making new friends is as heartwarming as it is beautiful. If I am ever down or in a bad mood, Shinryaku! Ika Musume always brings my hope up.

You Ink You Know A Squid When You See One?
This anime was perfect for me; cute, funny, for 95% of the time completely appropriate, I was very impressed.
This anime is all about Squid Girl, an invader from the sea who plans on putting humans in their place for mistreating her home. But things don't work out the way she plans when her first invasion leaves her working for a beach restaurant.
FYI: Each episode is comprised of three mini ...

    you must "sea" this one.
What, are you squidding me? This is a great anime. It is full of sea puns. Yeah, you must "sea" this one. Squid Girl is still wet behind her ears. Oh yes, her language is a bit too salty for me. However, let the INKvasion begin - as in right now.

  • Energetic and Polished, A Touch Repetitve
I liked this show straight out of the gate. The art style is great and the premise is both amusingly silly (a girl who thinks she's a squid!) as well as intriguing (wait, is she actually a squid, or just a weird girl, or..?) But before long I felt that the show had settled into a routine and that not much new would happen. It's worth a brief romp.

  • This show is Squidtastic!
You can watch this with just about anyone who can read a little, so I watch it with my kids. It's very funny and cute; however, it can have it's adult moments if you know how to do it. Every time she says an expletive with squid in it, replace squid with a cruder word and voila it's Squiding insane! I can't squiding believe it! What the squid do you think you're doing? etc. Watch this one, ...
