First Impressions of Sword Art Online [An Assessment of Episodes 1-20] *Spoiler Free*
Since this series hasn't officially ended I cannot properly assess an accurate score or review, however, I will give my first impressions and thoughts on this series. (Up to Episode 20)

    [Genre & Audience]
Sword Art Online (SOA) starts off as an adventure/fantasy based anime. This changes later on though, as the story gears towards a more romantic story. I have to say that ...

By far, the best anime I've ever seen :)
Long after the anime was out, my cousins told me to watch SAO, saying that it was really good. At first (which was way before my cousins had the chance to tell me to watch this anime), when I read the summary, I thought 'This doesn't sound like a good anime to watch...' But now I'm sorta hooked onto watching this, it's really good! Better than I imagined, actually.

    I really liked each ...

    So much potential... lost.
Plot was great at first. From watching the first episode I really saw potential in this show and really thought it would be a very promising adaption series, unfortunately that impression didn't stand for very long. Episode by episode it became really hard to grasp the original plot in this series, The unnecessary fillers, fan service, and unbelievably fast phase of it all left me with a headache ...

    New and Refreshing Love Story
It's rare to get an anime that doesn't focus on cliches and sex appeal. For once we have a love story that doesn't being at the end of the last episode. The concept of being locked in a new world fending for your life based on MMO standards was a great especially from an online gamer's point of view. It gives people the idea how life may operate if life were like a MMO. Real emotions, death, ...

    A huge leap in genre
I love this anime. It captured my attention right away with it's storyline. I'm a part time gamer, and gamer or not, I would probably still love SAO. It's fantasy, science, adventure, and romance. Without the gaming experience, this anime would seem like one of those usual adventure stories (which is cool, too), but it isn't. With gaming, it's a story that tells the viewers that it's also a bit of ...

BEST ANIME IN A LONG TIME
I forgot how amazing anime could be when it comes to dragging my soul into another world of fantasy and adventure--but SAO really brought that back! This will be one of those animes that goes down in otaku history like Naruto, Bleach, or Inuyasha--but better! The maker of this anime also created Accel World, so be sure to check that out too!! Two different animes with different styles, but both ...

    As good as the novel
If your anything of an anime fan, this is one anime you'll want to add to your belt of anime seen. Having read the novels up to the 10th one, this anime is truly one to follow. 10 thumbs up!!

From the start of the 1st episode your introduced to the main characters, and to the first arc of the series. As the story moves on, you see two people fall in love, the main character become a bad guy ...

Best Anime That I Have Watched A Decade! XD
This anime was what made me return to watching anime! I love the concept of MMO gaming with action, love, and suspense/thriller. It is just one big pot of awesome concepts and ideas into one greatly written anime. I think everyone should watch this and see why everyone is talking about it now!
