Best, Outstanding, Brilliant, Amazing and Well Plotted Anime
This anime in which i consider is one of the legendary anime's known to man (On My Opinion), It's the best and well-plotted anime with amazing content with a Balance of Action, Romance, Comedy and other outstanding genres. The story by itself deserve a 5/5 and it's based on possible reality (Which means it could happen in the future) and the idea of the NerveGear is just magnificent i can't ...

was actually a piece of garbage, 2nd season ruined it for me
Man u can already tell how bad this was gonna be...... it wasnt even about kirito for majority of this season, NOONE CARES ABOUT ASUNA. and honestly they changed it to a gun game, but kirito can only use a blade which is pretty stupid...... LIKE WHAT WERE THEY THINKING!?!?!, and the worst part of it was the fighting was sooooo bad. budget cuts to the maximum. id be shocked if they made another ...

Paced Quickly yet Driven Smoothly (Somehow)
"Sword-Art Online" is an anime that captures you to both Virtual and Actual Reality. With a story that is greatly introduced, the pacing of the show kills the method of how the character development can grow. Although it feels like filler gaps are a huge nuisance, What brings it back is the Music and it's Animation. Beautifully scored with music to fit the correct setting-whether scenes of war or ...

    Unique, Short, and Sweet
A show that mixes video games and anime, and does it well at that. SAO, or Sword Art Online, is an Anime based off of a Japanese novel rather than a manga like most animes. SAO isn't the longest of animes (About 50 episodes at the time I am writing this, but I wouldn't doubt there will be more in the future), yet it feels so much longer. Alot of animes work the other way... they might be very ...

    A continuation of the 1st
They new characters and premise was a different twist, the idea of online affecting real life was a great plot, but it wasn't as good as an anime as I was expecting. There was a lot of fan fare, and I think it was blown out of proportion as for how good it was, it was entertaining but not as engaging as the first one.

It looks pretty and animates well... that's about it....
Sword Art Online is the type of show that focuses most of it's energy on cool visuals and well-animated fight scenes instead of actually focusing on the writing. And that's fine for an extent. If anyone's interested in this show, I would recommend checking out the first arc and then immediately leaving because this show does have some serious problems in it's storytelling, characters, general ...

Great show - love the characters
Sword Art Online is easily my favorite TV show of all time. The characters are great and have a lot of personality. The first season was definitely the best, although the second one is also great. I love how the show fits almost 3 years into only 30 episodes, and does it well. Overall this show definitely earned 5 stars.

Perfect for me, but not for everyone
Perfect for me... Not for everyone. Just enough romance to be touching, just enough feels to be satisfying, enough action to love it, and a strong female lead that's not manly but not 2nd place to the male. The various arcs need to be taken together to get the full effect, but the end (so far) was as satisfying as the beginning.

SAO is an awesome anime and loving the second season
I loved the first season of SAO and I am loving the Second season even more. I read the light novels and loved the Mother Rosario and GGO and Excalibur arcs and now getting to see the anime for those three arcs is just completely awesome for me and I can't wait to see more SAO episodes and I hope that season 3 comes along soon.
