    Bad, verging on mediocre.
SAO is almost worth watching. Its many faults (ridiculous overpowered protagonist, clumsy exposition, inevitable harem, she's not technically his sister) are slightly tempered by its apparently accidental strengths (adequate art, relationship that actually goes somewhere, the Mother's Rosario arc.)

    Hard Review to Write.
[3.75/5] So here it comes, reviewing in my opinion one of the most popular anime to ever come out, period. This is a show that you either love or hate. I fall in between. Firstly, this show has everything for everyone. It goes through every genre that I can think of and gives it viewers what they want. This is not a show to look super in depth with and if you do, it turns from entertaining to ...

So this show was really popular huh? Can't imagine why.
Heard the title alot and, saw it was highly rated and decided to look at it even though I'd heard mostly bad things. Should have guessed from the title but it turned out to be yet another WE'S TRAPPED IN MUH MMO animes.

I'll give them props for actually trying to explain how such a thing could ever even occur with some SciFi backstory but it's an excuse so thin it may be worse than just dodging ...

    Absolutely Terrible...
SAO is one the worst anime I have ever seen. The concept seems amazing, the feeling of wonder turned into horror hooked me, but it was done all wrong. Kirito is one of the most bland, un-intriguing character I have ever seen. To better help my review, just take a look at these 3 YouTube videos.

    Needs more Character Development
All i can say is that I did watch a few episodes of SAO. However, I soon realized that
    1. Kirito shows very few emotions in the first few episodes
    2. No one dies. Guess what? Yui gets saved into an item, even though her death would've been great for character development.
    3. Kirito is way too overpowered. Hack the system in 3 seconds? Got it. Outheal 5 people trying to kill? Got it. Dual wield? ...

    Very Cool Concept! Amazing Characters!
This is a fantastic anime. The first season was amazing. It was extremely well written, in my opinion. The second season lost a little bit of it's amazing feel. However, I consider it very minor. The action scenes are fantastic. When I first watched this on Netflix, I wasn't really feeling the mmorpg scene anymore. After watching this, It immediately got me hooked again. If you are a gamer in ...

It's better if you don't like it.
SAO II is not a huge SAO series for those who produced it.

In the virtual world of GGO, there is the identical plot of the first series where the real threat tries to kill players in the game and reality. It doesn't add 'new' in it.

From the middle of this series, it lacks ingenuity when hearing the word 'Excaliber'. No idea how stupid is the name so original that I don't find it more ...

A very addicting, but inconsistent series
SAO had a very good, even though not completely original idea and coupled it with compelling characters and good production values. People trapped in a videogame in which "when you die you die for real" might sound like a cliche, but the MMORPG setting and very long timespan of the story gives it unique feel. Creators can explore how people not just fight for survival, but start to settle in the ...

SAO, in my opinion, is NOT that great
If SAO wasn't my very first anime, I would have given it one star. In my own opinion, everyone thinks SAO is really great, and yeah I guess it is, BUT there are way too many filler episodes to the point that you forget what their main objective is, as if the creators forgot that they're trying to leave the game. The amount of time they spent in the game was understandable, but then you get to the ...
