    Amazing! its a must watch
I started watching out of curiosity and wanting to also start a new series and i am so glad that i chose to watch this. The character development throughout the series is great, you start to really think that you know them! Its a great plot although at the end leaves you with many unanswered questions .... really needing season 3.

overall its a must watch and i probably could watch it over ...

  • LOTS OF CRYING!!!!!!!
If you are one of those people that can't stand characters that are overemotional, DO NOT watch this series. If there was a drinking game for every time the main character cries, you would be die of alcohol poisoning by the second episode. Okay, maybe that's an exaggeration, but he cries a lot.

I did enjoy this anime for the fact that I haven't watched anything like it before. You have this ...

  • One Of The Most Unique Series I've Seen In A While
Interesting and adorable main character, despite his issues with being overly emotional. I love the fact that we are introduced to most of the main characters from the start and really get a chance to get acquainted with them first.

Beautiful art style, and very entertaining for anyone looking for a good mix of slice of life and action.

    Beautiful story and amazing art.
This have to be one of my top favorite animes. I love the art style, and the characters. Lag is an emotional main character, but after seeing the first episode, all I want to do is cheer this little boy on! I thought it was smart making Gauche show up in the first episode, as it got me attached to his character before Lag goes searching for him. I first only watched it because my favorite singer ...

  • Somewhere between 3 & 5 stars
I loved this show because I loved the characters but sometimes the show did start to become slow. It picks up speed later on, however, and my favorite character is actually nearish to the end. Definitely don't regret watching, although I think one of the characters could have definitely been better clothed. >_<

Interesting Premise but No Development = Slow, Boring and Mainly Filler
I got to episode 18 of Tegami Bachi and I stopped. And not even on purpose. I just really didn't feel like watching it so much that I procrastinated from watching it and did other things... for two years. That's what it's like.

The characters and their costumes are really cool and the artwork is amazing.
The idea of a different world with perpetual darkness and the pilgrimage to an idyllic ...

    TBLB Review ~ImperfectAnge1
This is an interesting anime that made typical mailmen of the society to heroes that risk their lives delivering the "heart" of the letters. It's an interesting concept with this anime world having an artificial sun, gaichuus and partners of letter bees as dingos. I liked the story in the beginning that formed a bond between the two characters and the journey of the main character becoming a ...

Not the greatest, but I love it anyway.
Tegami Bachi is my favorite manga, so I was very happy to find the anime. There are lots of thing to like about it. The story is really quite interesting, taking place in a country called Ambergound, which is stuck in perpetual night. A manmade sun hangs over the capital, in the middle of the country, giving it light and warmth. In Yodaka, the region farthest from the sun, Lag Seeing lives ...

Had a lot of potential but the story just didn't pan out
I wanted to really like this show; it has an interesting premise and I saw a lot of potential in it. As the show goes on though, it begins to drag and a lot of plot holes and discrepancies appear. I kept waiting for the main characters to grow into their own but I'm almost done with the show and there hasn't been very much growth. Lag is still just a big a baby as he was in episode 1 (brace ...

    Wonderful little story
I love this anime. Everything, from the plot, to character development, to the animation itself is done perfectly. But what makes me rewatch the series over and over is really the story, beautifully told.
