Action, Love, Comedy, and History!!! Caution: Spoilers!!!
The more I watched this the more I began to be interested to what happened next to the famous Oda Nobuna. I loved how the beginning started in the battlefield with Hideyoshi and Monkey, at first I was confused at how they met and such but slowly got caught up with even though that character only appeared twice this anime. Then comes Nobuna in shining armor. It was very touching about how Nobuna ...

    Worth every minute!!!!
I will keep this as short as I can... great plot, dynamic characters, and resolve for each episode while offering a continuation for the main story line. I dare you to make it past the second episode with a glint of regret. I totally ran across this on accident, and never looked back! Hope this is helpful to someone on the fence.

Actually goes pretty well with the Light Novel
Now I read 6 vol. out of the 10 vol. of the Light Novel series to get hooked into this. I was really anticipating the whole book in the anime, of course not all of it was there. but I really did enjoy it despite that. I loved the history, reminds of Samurai Warriors and such and of course, being able to replace with a historic figure in history is certainly something and the main character ...

    Not your average harem anime
Don't get deceived by its looks or think that this harem-like anime is the same, it has beautiful art, animation, history (yeah, unlike harem anime), action, romance and love (no silly love triangle or time wasting stuff, an actual ending unlike... again harem anime), bunch of girls and no one is stupid or useless, a likeable main character and lovely co-protagonist... is not a love comedy, but ...

    Unexpected and Interesting.
This is one of those shows that are more then meets the eye. It looks like your regular harem/ comedy but has enough unique features to set it apart. Not every female character is romantically attracted to the main guy in fact that inst even the focus of the show.
The main character, is thrown back in time (by means which are never revealed) into an era of civil war in japan. Which is knowledge ...

First Impressions - The Ambition of Oda Nobuna
Hello and welcome to First Impressions.

In the year 2009, an anime based on a video game came out called Sengoku Basara: Samurai Kings. If you want to know what it was about, it was Dragon Ball Z mixed with a Japanese history textbook. It also made just as much sense. However later, in 2012, a new Sengoku Era anime came out. I can only hope that this new anime with a slight typo does better ...

    History at its finest?
The art and animation is very impressive, the armies charging towards the enemy is high quality animation that is very tough to create, though it seems that they are making Oda Nobuna(naga) the Daimyo of Japan, but in history it was Tokugawa Iyeasu that claimed that throne as Daimyo of Japan. Please remember that, but other than that, great anime with war and boobs.

An amusing spin on Sengoku jidai themes
This show is a fairly weird play on historical themes - a gamer, fanatic of a game about Oda Nobunaga, is transported to an alternate Sengoku era where Nobunaga and many other crucial warlords of the time are women. Using his knowledge, he helps Nobuna, the female version of Nobunaga realize her vision for united Japan while also avoiding actions that led Nobunaga to be a merciless, cold ruler and ...
