An amusing spin on Sengoku jidai themes
This show is a fairly weird play on historical themes - a gamer, fanatic of a game about Oda Nobunaga, is transported to an alternate Sengoku era where Nobunaga and many other crucial warlords of the time are women. Using his knowledge, he helps Nobuna, the female version of Nobunaga realize her vision for united Japan while also avoiding actions that led Nobunaga to be a merciless, cold ruler and ...

  • Certainly worth a watch.
This was a surprisingly solid show. Yes, its a harem with a cop out, though not for the sake of the harem. Yes, just about all the characters have plot armor, regardless of their historical relevance.

Still, for 12 episodes and being a romantic comedy I enjoyed it alot more than I thought I would have. I was excited to see they hinted at another season at the end, but its been 4 years so I ...

  • Why can't history be like this.
This anime is a ball of fun and great moments to say the least. When I watched this anime I really interested, with the new surprised and evens that happens in the anime it really keep me and the edge of my sit when I watched it. The battle scene where funny to watched and very interesting to me. Also I found this anime to be very funny. I think they did a good job in balancing the serious moments ...

  • Dynasty Warriors Meets Harem!
Okay, I don't do many reviews but this show definitely deserves one. the protagonist has minimal fighting skills, and the show actually capitalizes on that fact. Add to that the concept of making almost all the leading generals into cute girls with great personalities and cool weapons and armor...All slowly falling for the hero...what a great blend of two worlds!

  • Wow, took me by surprise. 100 points.
Just browsing through the catalogs to pick a random series to blow through during a long weekend. Saw a pretty high score for ratings, so I decided to, albeit with great doubt, watch a few episodes.

Wow, was I amazed. An MC that is pretty competent, confident, and not egotistical, as well as a cast of likable characters, this loosely historical show definitely took me by surprise. It's ...

  • Meanwhile, in no season 2 land...
I watched this due to a single screen shot posted on an image board a few months ago. I can safely say this is perhaps the best 'hero gets thrown back in time', 'gender bend everyone' and 'loli warriors, no really' anime out there. The characters are likeable in their own ways, the story is actually fun when it needs to be, tense when it should be and one of those shows you will be saying "just ...

  • All Hail Oda Nobuna!!!
So far only 7 episodes in but a great show. I absolutely love the historical aspect of it I find myself pausing quite often to find out more of the individuals in the show. Nobuna is a great character herself although a leader with ambition not caring what gets in her way. The outright indifference she has to the rest of the nation's movements gives her a naivete that provides depth. Nobuna must ...

  • Great series worth watching
Good character development, really great artwork, much more than typical boring harem ecchi story. Worth watching IMO.

Not sure how much is actually history or not. And I never played any of the Nobuna series. More of a Romance of the 3 Kingdom fan. Almost done watch the whole series in a week. I think it's really good of all that I have watched. Deserved better rating. I don't typically leave ...

  • Loved it, however it is missing something.
O, ya its missing a season two.
Mad House almost never makes a season 2 of anything. Its upsetting that they do such a great job making anime but they just give up after season 1. No matter how popular it is. This anime deserves a season 2 but chances are its never going to get one,

  • Wish season 2 would be released soon:/
Wish season 2 would be released soon. this show is a great action comedy with romance is one my favorite types of anime. this is history is a little off but even the boy from the future based his knowledge from a video game, much like todays society.
