A must watch for every anime fans!
    Hi there.
This series is great. It is fun, have great characters and I found it interesting.
Have only watched season one so far.

But here is the thing you need to know, the order here is the broadcast order, and that is not the chronological order.
If you see E00 first, it WILL spoil a LOT! Trust me, dont do that.

Ok, the episodes under 2006 is season 1 and the one under 2009 is ...

  • Thank You For Kyon!!
The shots are about the be fired. I was not thoroughly impressed by this show. But here's the review! The story, setting, plot, tone, characters, dialogue, animation, all of it was great. A must watch for one getting into anime but not a top choice for your first watched anime. There isn't more I can say that you wouldn't have heard already about this extraordinarily popular show expect for that ...

  • A Better God than the Alternative
    [WARNING!!! VERY OLD SPOILERS!!!]

First off, if given the choice, I'd have rated this one with an extra star. That's 6/5 stars.

"Holy sh-t!" you must be thinking, "This anime is that good?"

Yes. Yes, it is. I first watched this anime when I was but a scrub in the Otaku-ish ways. Green as grass, just stepping out of the Adult Swim lineup and into the ...

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya. My review.
This is my own personal opinion do not hate. This is also a review from when i first finished it (i have watched more anime now).

The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya – In the first season, it takes a couple episodes to build up how Haruhi ‘works’ and throws in a curveball later and while the curveball as good it doesn’t keep your attention in until the ‘powers’ are shown and making the character ...

  • So, how bizarre do you like your anime?
A reasonable quality anime that was explosively popular in Japan. It delights in being confusing, but not as bad as FLCL. The plot was kind of interesting, but didn't appear to have any ending whatsoever. It was about a girl who can alter reality at will - only without her knowing about it- and she starts a club to "solve mysteries" that she usually winds up creating herself through her own ...

This was a great anime, but....
I loved this series a bunch, the story was great, the comedy was great, and the anime was great in general, the only problem I had with this anime was the episodes 2-9 of the second season, I mean repeating the same plot over and over again with different animations is okay, but over eight episodes in a twelve episode series just wasn't a good Idea.

Cute At Times, But Terrible Storytelling
Sorry to everyone else that loved this show, but I think it only deserved 2 stars -- i.e. "below average". Here's why:

The entire story line basically didn't make any sense. There is supposed to be a super-secret time traveling alien beings affecting everyday life, but this part of the story is completely botched. On the one hand, we have Haruhi who starts out quietly and smugly ignoring ...

It Has A Fandom You Will Love Or Hate
Yes, the fandom can be quite annoying, but this show at least deserves some credit for it. It is a great show after all. The characters are great, and the storytelling is fantastic. In fact, that amazing storytelling is what saved me on the more tedious episodes. This leads me into discussing plot. Well, to be frank, the plot is all over the place. You go from endless eight to great action ...

The Melancholy of Confused Viewers - Awesome series ruined by misordered episodes.
Okay, let's start at the beginning. Seriously, I'm starting from the beginning. And there's a reason I'm starting from the beginning, even though starting from the beginning is seen as passe from some quarters of Anime Fandom.

When I first started watching this show, It became an impossible endeavor. The reason is because here on Crunchyroll, there's no way to solve the mystery of what ...

One girl can is all you need to change the world
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is a successful light novel series that not only has been adapted by a two season anime series (and two spin off), but also several manga series and has surprised an impressive number of people in Japan and all over the world.
This series tells the story of Kyon, your average teenager which has just started high school. On the first day of school, the girl ...
