A must watch for every anime fans!
    Hi there.
This series is great. It is fun, have great characters and I found it interesting.
Have only watched season one so far.

But here is the thing you need to know, the order here is the broadcast order, and that is not the chronological order.
If you see E00 first, it WILL spoil a LOT! Trust me, dont do that.

Ok, the episodes under 2006 is season 1 and the one under 2009 is ...

SGs The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya review
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is an original comedy with a slight sci-fi twist.

Kyon is an average, down to earth, high school student. He believes in no such thing as, and wants to have absolutely nothing to do with ridiculous fantasies like aliens, time travelers, espers, and other made up fairy tales. But oddly enough, ...

    Over rated anime, like really.
This anime centers around Haruhi Suzumiya, literally. The anime revolves around how her "friends" must endure their life at highschool making sure Haruhi is NEVER bored, sad, confused etc. or the world will end because she is God.
The anime had great potential, but for some unknown reason has many great reviews 5/5 stars etc etc. But I honestly cannot fathom, how this anime could rate so ...

Haruhi is just amazing. You must know her before you die
This series is one of those that every otaku should know since it features one of the most interesting characters of all time.
    Plot: 9/10
The SOS brigage (Haruhi's club) was solely built to remove Haruhi's boring days.
I almost gave it a perfect 10. But because of the endless eight episodes, I took one point because of a hint of a lazyness (Just watch the first and last endless eight ...

After Owning the Melacholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (which i bought the whole collection of episodes i bought at best buy for only $39.99) and watching the episodes, This Series is Unlike any Sci-Fi/Fantasy Anime i ever Seen, The plot and the Stories Twist and Mysterious things happen on every corner just gives me Shivers all the time, and somtimes a OMG moment, but the Animation, Artwork, and ...

One Of The Greatest Anime Of All Time. Period
[b]the Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya is a strange Anime.
A schoolgirl whom possesses God-like powers. Yet she knows nothing of them.
She can alter reality in her subconsciousness and wish for anything she would like.
Although the anime is PALE in comparison to the Manga (As all anime is) is does a fantastic Job.

Haruhi is voiced by "Aya Hirano" a highly classed J-Pop singer from

It's won't be a melancholy for the viewer...
My girlfriend, an anime fan and part of the reason why I'm watching anime, has an interesting selection of anime in her disposal. One of her favorites is Lucky Star, which is a cute show in its own right. While watching the series, she also introduces me to this anime. At first glance, I thought that this would be similar to Lucky Star, considering that it's animated by the same company and the ...

The Melancholy of Confused Viewers - Awesome series ruined by misordered episodes.
Okay, let's start at the beginning. Seriously, I'm starting from the beginning. And there's a reason I'm starting from the beginning, even though starting from the beginning is seen as passe from some quarters of Anime Fandom.

When I first started watching this show, It became an impossible endeavor. The reason is because here on Crunchyroll, there's no way to solve the mystery of what ...

    A Great Sci-Fi/Slice-of-Life Combo Anime
One star has been removed because I'm still bitter about Endless Eight.

I could not say enough about this show. It's a unique story told very creatively, and I am thrilled that Crunchyroll has it up in original broadcast order. Yes, season 1 will probably be a bit confusing to newcomers - it was originally broadcast out of chronological order for canonical reasons which would ...

Do yourself a favor and watch the series in this order:
Follow this link to a Wiki article which will take you to the 2009 listing: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_The_Melancholy_of_Haruhi_Suzumiya_episodes#2009_version

Watch both the 2006 series and the 2009 series according to this list and you will thank me. That makes for a reasonable 28 episode series in chronological order, which makes the most sense.

This is one of those ...
