OMG!! Do what she says!! Now!!
What a Superb Show!! and let me tell you why...

The show has a story which will bend your mind. I found that the 2006 version can be watched in two different orders. One is the televised order and the other is the original written order. I watched the written order first and then the televised order, both are good.

The story revolves around Haruhi, a strong willed high school girl who does ...

Popular show doesn't equal excellent, but it's not bad, mostly
I'll admit, this was a good enough show. However, I didn't watch it until I was pretty well into my anime career, so it didn't seem as special as the hype suggests. Although, there is a certain bundle of episodes in one of the seasons that, well... let's say you feel like you've gained a badge of honor for watching them.

It would be wrong for me not to mention the good points. It is ...

    Confused as heck, Be warned.
I watched this series several years ago, near when it first came out. At that time I was intrigued by the first season, always expecting something bigger to happen.

Though disappointed by the end of the season, I awaited for more.

By the time the second season had come out, the memories of the first season was in an odd shamble as I watched the episodes in broadcast and chronological ...

    A Great Sci-Fi/Slice-of-Life Combo Anime
One star has been removed because I'm still bitter about Endless Eight.

I could not say enough about this show. It's a unique story told very creatively, and I am thrilled that Crunchyroll has it up in original broadcast order. Yes, season 1 will probably be a bit confusing to newcomers - it was originally broadcast out of chronological order for canonical reasons which would ...

Thanks to the creator of this anime.
The melancholy of Haruhi suzumiya is my favorite anime of all time. Its great in everything, has made me laugh, cry, hate, bored to death in summer 2009 and many more. But this anime is something you would watch again and again because of it extraordinary unique story and characters. IT WILL ALWAYS BE SOS BRIGADE FOREVER!!!

    Dude, The Greatest Thing
I JUST FRIGGING LOVE THIS SHOW. Maybe it's because I see myself in Haruhi, I dunno. Maybe it's because all my friends remind me of Kyon. Maybe it's the music, maybe it's the script, maybe it's the animation. But it's just GREAT.

  • First season great, second season...
The first season of Haruhi was really great and fun, the second season was bogged down by the endless eight. I actually stopped watching it after the third endless eight episode and came back 5 months later to finish it after i found out that it stops. After that it was all flashback; it was kind of a bummer but it was interesting to see how much of a disaster making their film was. The first ...

  • Haruhi drags you in like she does everyone else
My follow up to my current viewing list was another pick in my continuing attempt to find something fun and light hearted instead of depressing and angering. I finally succeeded. Despite it's serious moments, this show had me consistently laughing so loud I'm sure my neighbors have garnered a new fear of me.

A fun simple premise that is not over-wrought. Haruhi manages to be perpetually ...

  • Saving the world (literally) by overloading it with fun.
Every so often in Japan, an anime series gets aired on TV and becomes an instant phenomenon. Inevitably, word of it reaches foreign countries, leading both fan-sub communities and license companies alike getting there hands on it, leading up to of course, fan-subs over the internet and licensed DVD releases. As a (perhaps inevitable) result, the anime becomes a phenomenon world wide as well. Love ...
