If you're looking for some laughs.
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (I'll use TMHS for short) is going to keep you glued to your seat in confusion and laughter and laughter at your own confusion. This anime was aired in an awkward order which adds to the awkwardness of the anime itself. Many of the viewers' comments will show you the order in which the story goes chronologically. Whichever order you wish to watch the anime ...

Wonderful anime but might break your mind.
I love this anime. I have watched in the order that was shown as Kyoto Animation aired, and was sooo confusing that I asked myself what we're they trying to do? I watched it twice like that, then I found out on a site that showed the order that the episode were supposed to or should have been aired. I love that characters and find Kyon to be a real normal guy. Haruhi on the other hand I view ...

After Owning the Melacholy of Haruhi Suzumiya (which i bought the whole collection of episodes i bought at best buy for only $39.99) and watching the episodes, This Series is Unlike any Sci-Fi/Fantasy Anime i ever Seen, The plot and the Stories Twist and Mysterious things happen on every corner just gives me Shivers all the time, and somtimes a OMG moment, but the Animation, Artwork, and ...

One Of The Greatest Anime Of All Time. Period
[b]the Melancholy Of Haruhi Suzumiya is a strange Anime.
A schoolgirl whom possesses God-like powers. Yet she knows nothing of them.
She can alter reality in her subconsciousness and wish for anything she would like.
Although the anime is PALE in comparison to the Manga (As all anime is) is does a fantastic Job.

Haruhi is voiced by "Aya Hirano" a highly classed J-Pop singer from

The only mystery is the show...
Haruhi suzimiya is a god...or atlest one of the 5 main characters thinks she is.

crazy things happen when haruhi is around but for some reason, she never notices. oblivious, she hunts for the mysteries of the world.

a fun series if you don't think too hard.

watch this show and you will find yourself joining the SOS brigade and dancing the hare hare yukai.

It's won't be a melancholy for the viewer...
My girlfriend, an anime fan and part of the reason why I'm watching anime, has an interesting selection of anime in her disposal. One of her favorites is Lucky Star, which is a cute show in its own right. While watching the series, she also introduces me to this anime. At first glance, I thought that this would be similar to Lucky Star, considering that it's animated by the same company and the ...

SGs The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya review
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya is an original comedy with a slight sci-fi twist.

Kyon is an average, down to earth, high school student. He believes in no such thing as, and wants to have absolutely nothing to do with ridiculous fantasies like aliens, time travelers, espers, and other made up fairy tales. But oddly enough, ...

Reviews For The Melancholy of Haruchi Suzumiya
one of the most silliest and not very good anime, all the episodes are random and the main character is obnoxious and not all that interesting. Their is basically no plot if you enjoy school anime with a loud whinny pushy character, then I'd say go for it. I found the comedy wasn't all that good, and most of the characters weren't that interesting in all honesty.

    I was very disappointing I ...

    Haruhi Suzumiya season 2009
Watch episode 1 and 2 like you normally would, then skip to episode 9.
the Episodes between 2 and 9 are exactly the same dialog with different animation. Save yourself the time. Save yourself 2 hours of your life. It's so boring. Don't suffer like I have because this wasn't even funny. The pay off wasn't worth it. altogether it's 160mins or 2 hours and 40 mins. all you need is 40. skip episodes 3 ...

I am gonna be realistic here
This anime was definitely not all it was cracked up to be, the first 8 episodes wasted precious time of my life that i want back, and the last were pretty pointless. If you are looking for action, this is not the anime you want. If you are looking for plot, this is not the anime you want. If you are looking for good dialogue, this is definitely not the anime you want. No Romance, No action, no ...
