Oh, and I love the fact that there was a successor to the monster throne so our Hero did not have to become the next Monster King. He can instead inspire new Melos Warriors. Truly the labyrinth is never ending for monsters or humans.

Thought: The humans "started" the war by accident... But is not turning someone's loved ones into stone not "starting it"? Plus, if monsters were existing unseen, why did they not keep it that way?

If people just sat and thought about it then they'd realise just how clever the show is being. It's a great ending, and this is a show that I'd put in my top 3. Even all these years later it's still ahead of it's time. Brilliant

I guess this is one of those series where you love it or hate it. Those who hate it don't understand or were distracted by the weirdness so much they lost track of the plot. Anyway, I liked the series and I see where they were going. 4.2/5

alright anyway this ending was about the monster king wanting to reform the world in his own image so that he wouldnt be lonely anymore and he also wants to make his twisted ideals a reality by making dead souls live forever tere u have it.

I have to wonder, eas the anime not as good as they hoped so they rushed it. Or is the manga as much of a disapointment at the end. Maybe the cammed a lot of stuff into a short time so thats why some stuff doesn't make sence.

Started off decently, then it went downhill for the rest. They had an interesting idea, but too many unexplained things and random things that can't even be called plot killed it.

The last couple of episodes before the very last one was somewhat weird. In my opinion I was kind of disappointed with the ending to this all but overall the series itself was till amazing towards the end.

Utter waste of time. Pointless imagery and lazy concepts relying on childish inferences. I mean, a field full of mooing women? Seriously? It started so well, I really wanted it to go somewhere. And it did. Straight to hell. What a joke.

Wooooo, it was a weird, wild ride alright. Solo might be dead or he might not, but at least Sayoko survived so the two of them are still fighting the good fight as a married couple and recruiting new Melos. Fun!

this was a waist of my time...half did not make any sense. I have no clue what the point of all that was, if the monster thing was a never ending cycle. Im kinda pissed off.

I don't know if I like this series either. I feel like the whole space arc kind of went nowhere. And it ignored the whole hint at "out there is the real labyrinth" implying the whole world was fake. It could have gone in better directions.

The last few eps before this one were messed up. But the ending was pretty smooth...and I think I'm getting it. But it's gonna take a while for my brain to process it all properly. The writing was either a bad acid trip or pure genius.

I am going to have to re-watch this after all. This reminded me of Neon Genesis Evangelion with a clearer ending. I'm going to clear my mind before reinitiating this series.
