This is an action packed story, with impressive fighting skills, and warriors that will never be forgotten. I was addicted to watching this one, and i highly recommend it to those who love a good action story. It will make you laugh, cry, and experience just about every type of emotion. I would definitely watch it over and over again.
Great director, great story, great acting, great production!!! Jang Hyuk is awesome as Dae-Gil!!! The action is great to watch, even though I usually dislike action movies. The music is Amazing. Loved the storyline. Great character development. Simply Awesome to watch. One of the best K-Dramas (and I have seen quite a few).
KODUS! No doubt this is the best, from the casts to the writer & director & to the sound tracks. Got hooked! glad i was on leave & was able to watch the entire episodes non stop :). Looking forward for the sequel & of course Jang Hyuk's incredible acting skills
I absolutely loved it! I love a good action flick and this was it and more. Although, the backstory of the politics was a bit confusing at first, it was still worth it to keep watching. It kept you on your toes and kept you wanting more even till the end. The lead character was complex and well portrayed. Overall, I think it was a series worth watching.
I really like this drama its interesting and the story line is very powerful in a sense. i had recommended this drama to my friends they also really enjoyed this show and i also recommend this drama to you
Just had to say, that I highly recommend this! I watched it the first time, and then watched it again, and then recommended it to my friends, they loved it, and then I watched it again with them. Enough said.

The Slave Hunters AKA Chuno is about a man and two of his friends that hunt run away slaves for a living. The "main" guy and leader of the group is named, Dae Gil. He's a complicated character (not in a good way) that has become obsessed with not only tracking slaves, but looking for a specific girl. His actions could never define him as a "good guy", but there are times that he'll surprise you and help someone. However, for all the negative and horrifying actions he does and the back and forth "good" guy "bad" guy gets old. Because of his actions he is not a leading character that I feel sorry for (which is something that is played on a lot). We later learn of his justification for doing these acts and slave hunting, and sorry, as sad it it is, I don't feel sorry for him.
His two friends "General" Choi and Wang Sui are too predictable and have become as predictable as Team Rocket's matto. Choi is the strong man who does not show his emotion. Wang Sui is the womanizing and annoying man that is the younger of the group. These two were arguably poorly done characters. While they were meant for comic relief (I guess?) we never see another side of them.
He is hunting down a specific girl because : (MAJOR SPOILER W/ DETAILS OF WHY HE IS CHASING HER AS WELL AS WHAT HAPPENED BETWEEN THEM AND HIS PAST. DO NOT OPEN IF YOU DON'T WANT TO KNOW THIS) :

She use to be his slave. They were in love with each other, but he would never tell his father. One day people break in and they are capturing her. He's hiding underneath the house. She cries out for him to help her. As they drag her away he runs after them and kills one of the men. They huddle together as they are saved. Afterwards, this encourages Dae Gil to profess his love for her to his father, something he had been avoiding. Their family is very upset that the slave would "seduce" him. She is tied up and placed in a dark room to die. Her brother learning of this is enraged and burns down Dae Gil's home and kills his parents. Dae Gil, upset runs out and his face is sliced with a sheath in an attempt to kill him. She calls out for him, horrified at what her brother has done. The slave girl and her brother run away, unaware that he is even alive. Although he did care for her as a slave, his actions show that for the most part he really does not care about slaves and how they are treated.
The beginning of this drama led me to think that it would be a drama but with some comedy. However, as the show progresses it really just has too much gratuituous violence for my taste. (I've watched many dramas where they go to war.) The humor has become very repetitive and was not funny. It seems the first several episodes have the men running around topless in an attempt to bring in a female audience. There is A LOT of killing and violence in this show. There isn't much of a plot besides him trying to find this girl and slave hunting. It's a sad drama.. On one of the plus sides they do have good fight scenes in the drama. They also have a cast of good looking people.. but good looking people and nice fight scenes are not enough to make me want to watch this drama.
