So this is basically this anime is a run off of the first season. After Jil and some of his friends are pulled back down from the mythical towers power, Jil is now living a normal life until a priestess finds Jil and tells him to take her to the tower or his beloved will die after seeing a vision. Jil being all emo and gloomy, finds his orginal party from the first season and a new person to climb the tower once again. The challenges that await in the tower are more difficult than before and new enemies appear.

The first time I watched this anime I immediatly was dancing to the music and downloading it on itunes. Even now in the second season it is more energetic and catchy.

The characteters in this anime all have different qualities that make this anime wonderful. You can see throughout the anime that frienship and relationships grow stronger.Somehere near the end you even got the enemys helping Jil! I say thats pretty amazing.

I love the animation in this anime. It looks very new to the other styles ive seen with the Girls with HUGE eyes and by huge I mean like its 2/3 of there face,They use really great animation techniques that make the anime seem more realistic and how its done makes the finish look amazing.

"The Sword of Uruk", while a quality Anime in its own rite, falls far short of the high mark set by the first season. In my opinion it was a mistake to take out the funny and fun video game animation quality they had in the first season and the 4 knights were given a smaller role in the story than I believe they should have. While I believe that both seasons would have been better had they been 24 episodes instead of 12, I do not feel that it negatively affected the first season. But with "The Sword of Uruk" I feel that the short 12 episodes made the story feel rushed and incomplete. If the first season was not as awsome as it was I would not be as harsh toward the second season as I am, but you cannot follow-up a masterpiece with a finger painting...just doesn't work! The characters were great, as expected, and the storyline had a lot of potential, it was just pushed through too fast.

Ok one thing to start this is 2nd half, but this anime brings you back to the tower druaga now named gilgamesh. comeing from teh 1st season i had to find out what would happen. as in the 1st season this storyline was great and never stoped be funny, or emotional. all the charactors are bac and a few new ones but they never fail to keep this anime lively and eventfull. what else is there to say if you just came from the the 1st season what are you even reading this, and if you came here to see what this anime is about its a classic adventure with a touch of romance ; and the rest is for you to find out this on this epic ride of a anime that really is more like 12 moive if you watch both seasons non stop like i did xP was so worth it gota love spring break

The journey won't be stop. Continue the previous adventure, after defeated Druaga and managed to find The Blue Crystal Rod. This wasn't the real finish line, it's not over yet. Two people have planned going ahead. Meanwhile the others stop the journey and some back to Meskia city, just like Jill and Fatina does. Leaving the Tower of Druaga. With good news, the Summer of Anu has end, the monster disappear and won't come out for next longer time, currently status: peace.

A half year have passed. Everyone has continue a new life, new jobs, new place, new style. Jill, Fatina, Utu, General Kelb, and others climbers. One day, while watching wrestling match, while Fatina confess her feeling toward Jill, suddenly they met with a mysterious little girl, who are being chased by Golden Soldier under Lady Amina's command. Finding something goes wrong with King Gilgamesh, the former General Kelb planned to investigate more by helping the little girl and others to escape from Uragon's squad. Jill himself find a hope to met with Kaaya is he follow Kai, The Istar Goddess, who have pretend as little girl. along with Fatina, Utu, Henaro, and Melt (set with Coopa), Jill stand straight to set up a new adventure to find Kaaya and Neeba.

Even so, this mission actually precious for Kai, and same with Neeba and Kaaya, and also Sumar Empire's soldier, their mission almost same though with different background reason, that's to kill the shadow of King Gilgamesh in Gilgamesh Tower. Jill and Fatina just want to see Neeba and Kaaya, ask them, why did they betray them. Melt and Coopa felt no reason to stay in Meskia, since his business run out because accident by Kai. Uragon and his squad still chasing for Kai. Meanwhile Henaro continue her father's task, being a strength for King Gilgamesh and reconnection with The Four Knight.

Unique things in this season, where they must survive in each different dimensions and find the 'door' to continue until the last door, where the shadow of King Gilgamesh, the young Gilgamesh there. Teamwork really need here, indeed. Despite that, Jill have been tricked by Gremica, the leader of Sumar Empire's squad and from Henaro too. Lot of each characters background being told here, especially about Neeba. The truth of what happened between Goddess and Kings. Each character emotions are personally told.

The ending a little bit hanging. But, well, it's happy ending off course. Though got Neeba lying unearth.

I like the new opening theme, "Questions?" by Yu Nakamura. The wondering mind after you watching last scene on previous episode, question. Also, "Swinging" by Muramasa☆ turn on as ending theme in the last episode of this serial. Life is always swinging....

WARNING!!! If you haven't watched the first season "The Tower of DRUAGA -The Aegis of URUK-" This anime will make no sense!

That being said, this isn't a summary it's a review. Just a heads up :].

The storyline follows flawlessly from the first season of the anime, keeping the old characters alive and diving even further into their pasts. The anime keeps true to it's previous storyline and wont disappoint if you enjoyed the last season.

Again, I made the mistake of watching this season first and had no idea what was going on for 2-3 episodes since they do not reintroduce old characters.

If you enjoyed the first season..then what are you waiting for?!?! I'm sure you're dying to know what happened after that cliff hanger in "The Aegis of URUK"!
