So this is basically this anime is a run off of the first season. After Jil and some of his friends are pulled back down from the mythical towers power, Jil is now living a normal life until a priestess finds Jil and tells him to take her to the tower or his beloved will die after seeing a vision. ...

    Good while is lasted...
Id like to give this a better rating but this anime is hard to take seriously. A lot of cheesy humor and juvenile elements kept me from really feeling drawn to the characters and the struggle they were going through. Dont get me wrong, comic relief cant be pretty great in some instances, but I almost always felt like the humor was out of place and tended to ruin serious story segments. I will ...

    Not A Show For Everyone
Unless you are a die hard fan of the original, I would recommend not starting this series. It does have some good points; there are a few characters that likable, moments of decision that can be seen as inspiring, but the series as a whole will not be able to hold an adult's attention.

  • Didn't see first season. Don't want to now.
Don't get me wrong. This kept my attention enough that I got to the end. So it's ok. But I have plenty of other things to do besides watch ok anime.

This show did not make me laugh. It did not make me cry. It did not show me anything new. It's philosophy and/or religion is straight out of Japan and still makes little sense to this American no matter how many times I see it in their ...

  • I'm very happy with this
I cut this on because I was bored eating lunch one day, and this turned to be surprisingly good. The entire show in general was lacking in animation quality for being released in 2008, but I figure it made up for it in the good story, likable characters, and cute fanservice.

However I really think that Jil should have gotten with Fatina. She was a much better character than ...

  • great for peopel who like the game/mmo genre of anime aspect
it has tons of references to games and even game mechanics plenty of action and comedy honestly one of the most enjoyable experience iv had in a long time plenty of the usual character stereotypes but tit puts its own spin on it and honestly i haven't seen a more original idea a of late concerning plot and story pregresion

  • Interesting. I would want to see the s1
My problem is that I haven't watched season 1 of this anime so I have no point of comparison.

As it is, I would say that it was an interesting show. Jil, Fatina, Kaaya, Melt and his servant girl (apologies, I can't remember her name), Henato (?) and Neeba were all cool. But I loved Utu the most. He was so funny without even trying. I particularly adored the part when he was trying to make Jil ...

  • The Tower of Druaga - The Sword of HURK
Oh boy, the follow up series to the Tower of Druaga - The Aegis of URUK. One needs to seriously watch the first season in order to really grasp what is going on and to get the character development that is present in this half.

I'm not going to go into details about this show for it's been a while since I watched it, but it's a pretty decent show. Follows the same genre of dot.Hack, or Sword ...

  • More compelling story over season 1
Where season 1 was slow and not very compelling to watch, this season stuck with the story and didn't waste any episodes. To learn the answers to the questions from season one and those posed throughout season 2, you aren't going to want to stop. My main complaint is with the low quality of the video, but I won't count that against the series itself.
