  • Major letdown after the first series
The first Tower of DRUAGA series, the Aegis of URUK, was goofy humor which never got too serious until the end, when it got SERIOUS. The Sword of URUK seems to have forgotten what humor is, while still being goofy. This is not a good thing. It spends the first four episodes trying to be mysterious and set up an EPIC QUEST, but when your series is 1/3 over and you've only JUST gotten the real ...

  • An Alright Sequel to Season 1
Where The Aegis of Uruk (season 1) kept me going more on interest for the goofy shenanigans that would happen in the next episode, season 2 seemed to take itself seriously and it hurt to watch. I felt that there were a lot of loosely followed side characters/plots that the writers decided to just drop, providing only the very bare minimum knowing they can't just outright abandon characters. What ...

  • Let's just throw some random stuff in
I somehow had no idea what was going on the entire season, yet I knew exactly what was going to happen. This show just decided to throw in random bits of different anime genres with little to no explanation and expected it to be passed off as funny (at least I hope, because it's pitiful if they did it seriously) and failed at that too. I liked the first season, but this is an equivalent of a ...

  • Its pretty good for its time
I'm reviewing this from the point of view of not watching the first season as I didn't realize until later that this was the second season. (yeah, laugh it up, man) It's still watchable even without knowing about what happened in the first season or knowing about the video game references. This is probably because they actually explain why the tower exists and the main character's motivations.... ...

Slightly less compelling, second season of enjoyable Druaga series.
The first season of this show, called Aegis of Uruk, was a rather fun but not really exceptional fantasy adventure and season two very much follows that same path, with mostly the same cast of characters and same style of storytelling. It picks up nearly exactly where the season 1 cliffhanger ending left us and continues to explain and resolve the main intrigue, leading to a very much predictable ...

  • Decent drama (sequel from Aegis of Uruk)
This is the sequel and there is very little added character development. That said characters are not two dimensional. Action scenes are entertaining and short. Puzzle moments have some lead in so the viewer "thinks" through the problem solving with the characters who figure it out. There is resolution with the love interests from the beginning of this sequel that follow from the Aegis of Uruk. ...

Didn't see first season. Don't want to now.
Don't get me wrong. This kept my attention enough that I got to the end. So it's ok. But I have plenty of other things to do besides watch ok anime.

This show did not make me laugh. It did not make me cry. It did not show me anything new. It's philosophy and/or religion is straight out of Japan and still makes little sense to this American no matter how many times I see it in their ...

    I'm very happy with this
I cut this on because I was bored eating lunch one day, and this turned to be surprisingly good. The entire show in general was lacking in animation quality for being released in 2008, but I figure it made up for it in the good story, likable characters, and cute fanservice.

However I really think that Jil should have gotten with Fatina. She was a much better character than ...

great for peopel who like the game/mmo genre of anime aspect
it has tons of references to games and even game mechanics plenty of action and comedy honestly one of the most enjoyable experience iv had in a long time plenty of the usual character stereotypes but tit puts its own spin on it and honestly i haven't seen a more original idea a of late concerning plot and story pregresion

    Not A Show For Everyone
Unless you are a die hard fan of the original, I would recommend not starting this series. It does have some good points; there are a few characters that likable, moments of decision that can be seen as inspiring, but the series as a whole will not be able to hold an adult's attention.
