One of the best animes I've seen
Both the manga and anime are amazing. The author knows how to construct a story that will appeal to all types of audiences and does it well. The captivating story will keep you on the edge of your seat and begging for more when the episode ends with a cliff hanger. It is the best anime adaptation of a manga both in content and accuracy. I suggest though that you read the manga after watching ...

Only gets better! Have some non-mainstream fun!
A really great series! Maybe not as great as the manga, which is beautiful at the best of times.

Season 3 is probably the best season so far, animating an arc which culminates a lot of what TWGOK has lead up to. This doesn't make the first 2 seasons less entertaining however.

It's a shame so much material was cut for season 3, and many conquests were skipped, but all the same the anime is ...

Not Only God Knows How Great This Is
As weird as a concept as it is, The World God only Knows truly makes for an exciting tale as the first two season lead through small arcing plots that are full of funny jokes and weird but interesting romances. From beginning to end the show had me hooked and really took a step up in the third season as it begins to create an overwhelming story arc that truly brings the Mangaka's abilities to the ...

A Must Watch with a Long Payoff!!! One of My Top 3 Anime/Manga Series of All Time!!!
Most people might look at this and think "oh, this is going to just be another generic supernatural piece. They couldn't be anymore wrong. Now, I will admit, I read the manga, which is much further ahead than the anime, and with the release of season 3, there was much material that needed to be skipped or we would not reach that is probably the best part of this entire series. Here's what I can ...

You Need to be Watching This
Let's say this out front-I hate the harlem genre. I find it stupid and unrealistic that tons of girls are after this one guy who doesn't have any sex appeal what so ever There is in-your-face fanservice, annoying pervert jokes, this was one anime type I stayed faaaar away from. Or so I thought. I watched The World Only God Knows because I was bored and I needed something fluffy and stupid to ...

A Breath of Fresh Air in a Sea of Junk
I happened to come across this show a month or so ago. When I read about it, I thought "great, Another one those fan service heavy harems", but I gave the benefit of the doubt and watched it. And I have to say, damn am I glad that I did! The concept was fresh and new, but not too ambitious that people couldn't get into it.

The storyline was one of the most enjoyable I've seen in a long time, ...

    Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai
Kami Nomi zo Shiru Sekai—or better known as The World God only Knows—revolves around the life of an otaku, Keima Katsuragi, who would rather live in the life of games and anime than reality. In the online world, he is the "Capturing God" for he can snag any 2D girl. But from other peoples' points of views, Keima is nothing but a glasses-wearing, anime-loving geek. One day, he recieves this email ...

Started great, but a bit downhill on season 3
Because I can't rate the seasons individually, I am averaging above. My actual ratings:
    Season 1 and 2 - 5 stars.
    Season 3 - 3 stars.

    Review:
Seasons 1 and 2 were phenomenal. The plot is a little loose, but it's played out like sets of short love stories almost. A few episodes per story with no stupid drama and a solid payoff at the end of each. Plus, you have some character building for the ...

Keima isn't the God we want, he is the God we deserve.
Summing up the reasons why I like The World God Only Knows (TWGOK) is actually rather difficult. I am a man in my middle 20's, my knowledge of the world of love is a lot more complex than it was at 17. With that in mind, as man who has grown up on harem anime, echi, and every other sort of "heroine-centric" anime or manga I thought that way TWGOK handles its material is surprisingly mature. The ...

Be sure to continue with the manga
The series does a very good job slowly but cleverly transitioning from a romantic comedy to an emotional drama. Normally I hate harem anime... but this does so many clever things (and twists on the overused/terrible tropes that normally accompany the genre), it ends up creating deep interesting characters (even one-episode characters are fairly well realized people).

One thing to note, there ...
