  • Some amazing SciFi !!
This is a spin off of classic literature (books name is Do Androids Dream of Electric Sheep, with some elements of Asimov's iRobot).

An interesting retelling of the main point of the tale and how people act with each other based on prejudices. Those lambasting it should take it for what it is, a short look into the human condition.

Without giving out any of the story, it spins a tale of ...

    I want so much more!
Man, where do I even start. Every thing about this short series is incredible. It has a unique soundtrack, the characters are fascinating, and the overall story has you questioning technology and humanity.

This is a hidden gem. A must watch for those interested in things other than action anime.

    100 Minutes of Pure Gold
'Time of Eve' is one of the best.

It deals with matters that have been dealt with in the past, but it does so with much more wit, honesty, simplicity - and most notably - with no real violence to speak of.

It takes the 'Ghost in a Shell' or 'Ergo Proxy' themes and puts a new spin on them - not by changing the subject matter, but rather by changing the pacing and environment, the emotional ...

A rare masterpiece with a class of its own
A series about androids in the human society. However, different from the normal "man vs machine" movies, it's more like "machine becomes man". A very touching story that tells about how social stigma forms against androids and how to overcome them.

The animation is smooth and different from other animes that their proportions are more real-like, instead of the normal big eyes or long arms. ...

Fantastic anime, with a moving story
There isn't much I can say about Time of EVE. It's completely, all around, amazing! The art is grand -no, resplendent- , the plot is magnificent, the atmosphere is majestic, the characters are the right balance between complex and understandable, and the sound -oh, the sound! I've watched the film twice (on iTunes, Time of EVE is formatted as a film), and I cry from the film's beauty every ...

  • Good sci-fi mini series
Great sci-fi mini series. Yoshiura did a good job using Isaac Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics into his own adaptation of a story involving two students living in an era where people are heavily dependent on robots. The story and character development were done well, especially for a short 6 episode series. At the end of the series, Yoshiura left me wanting for more.
