    I want so much more!
Man, where do I even start. Every thing about this short series is incredible. It has a unique soundtrack, the characters are fascinating, and the overall story has you questioning technology and humanity.

This is a hidden gem. A must watch for those interested in things other than action anime.

    100 Minutes of Pure Gold
'Time of Eve' is one of the best.

It deals with matters that have been dealt with in the past, but it does so with much more wit, honesty, simplicity - and most notably - with no real violence to speak of.

It takes the 'Ghost in a Shell' or 'Ergo Proxy' themes and puts a new spin on them - not by changing the subject matter, but rather by changing the pacing and environment, the emotional ...

Wish there were more like this one...
Anime has some real gems, and this is one of them. Unfortunately, they, like so many other things of value, are few and far between. I guess that's why those gems are so special.

This one has all the subtleties that I love about Japanese cinema, and I wish more of these types of stories would be created. There are sad and profound moments in here, but you aren't bashed over the head by them ...

If you like Ghost in the Shell then its a must watch
Exploring the questions of what makes us unique by trying to understand our emotions and our identities from the context of human robot relationships. Can a human love a robot and vice versa? What is love? 6 great episodes that equate to a 90 minute movie if watched in 1 go. Excellent direction. Uses all tools of the trade to tell a beautifull story. Great piece of work.

Each story of this anime has its own twists.
Usually, when we think of mecha or robot anime, we immediately think of fights and violence.

Sometimes, it can be downright boring, knowing that the robot will only fight with humanoid-like thoughts and "feelings" I grew up disliking and avoiding any anime that involved mecha or android anime, esp if the story revolved around one.

This anime totally changed my mindset.

    In a future-set ...

    Truly a wonderful experience.
This show was absolutely wonderfully written, drawn and executed, could have been longer, but it is still very satisfying in its short run. Most anime leave you feeling sad, stressed, pumped up for a fight etc. This series leaves you with an extremely good feeling. It just, makes you feel relaxed for the 2 hours or so that it runs.

I would highly recommend this series to anyone who enjoys anime.

    Something you must experience.
I had never seen a anime so well put together till i watched this. I watched this once and couldn't stop thinking about it. This really pinged the sci fi drama bar. I love it.

    You should watch this. Seriously.

    Asimov is resting peacefully
Extrapolating on Asimov's rules of robotics and what they would mean for modern society, this series posits the everyday life and interactions between man and machine. I enjoyed, immensely, the interplay between characters human and non-human alike. I think it really challenged the viewing audience to speculate whether kindness and decency towards man made things is completely out of order, ...

    Would you want a robot?
I always imagined having a robot sometime in the future who could cook and clean for me and Time of Eve makes this seem possible. I no longer would need to worry about the lack of time to cook because the robot could take care of that. I never imagined that a robot could be so human-like (though I also saw this at the World Expo in Aichi, Japan a few years ago). And imagine if this cafe actually ...
