Fantastic anime with a moving story
There isn't much I can say about Time of EVE. It's completely, all around, amazing! The art is grand -no, resplendent- , the plot is magnificent, the atmosphere is majestic, the characters are the right balance between complex and understandable, and the sound -oh, the sound! I've watched the film twice (on iTunes, Time of EVE is formatted as a film), and I cry from the film's beauty every ...

  • Good sci-fi mini series
Great sci-fi mini series. Yoshiura did a good job using Isaac Asimov's Three Laws of Robotics into his own adaptation of a story involving two students living in an era where people are heavily dependent on robots. The story and character development were done well, especially for a short 6 episode series. At the end of the series, Yoshiura left me wanting for more.

  • Worth the 15 minutes
As soon as I watched the first episode, Chobits came to mind. Everything was different except for the philosophical reasoning behind human and robot emotions. This is definitely the "grown up" version of Chobits, imo. The story line is great, given the 15 minute time slot it is given. The graphics/artwork are excellent. The depth of the characters are too. The creator definitely created characters ...

  • All Around Good Viewing
From the well done character and background art to the down-to-earth storytelling, this remains one of my favorite stories. While not every episodes are of equal quality, none are below the very good mark. The plot moves well, the characters grow and mature, and the outcome is never something you can anticipate (hope for yes, but not anticipate).

I'd recommend this one to anyone who is a true ...

  • Good robot show with human elements
Best mini-series anime I've seen in years. Doesn't require much build up and doesn't try to make small scenes feel huge. It just lets the human elements and emotions swell steadily with each episode. Really enjoyed this one.

  • Anybody who calls themselves human need to watch this.
It's been a long time since I watched this, but I still remember it being one of the best anime I have ever seen. It's a seriously good story with an even better message behind it. Really compelling stuff, I would suggest this anime to anybody any day of the week. Seriously top stuff.

    A Must-Watch Masterpiece
I was pleasantly surprised by this anime. It's a serious work of art that makes you think, and it's heartwarming, philosophical and intelligent as well. The episodes are short, only 15 minutes long, except for the last episode, which is 30, but the pacing is so good that a lot of plot gets told even in the small amount of time each episode lasts.

The characters are amazing, the artwork is ...
