    Science fiction is not dead!
Time of Eve is not merely a great story and a great anime (though it is). It is also, as far as I know, the first really NEW wrinkle on Asimov's 3 laws and the artificial intelligence question in 75 years, and how they aren't as simple as they sound. Most robot stories are either atavistic nonsense or pure brain-dead sentimentalism. Time of Eve actually makes you think deeply about the question of ...

    The singularity and stuff
Heartwarming, visually stunning, and all that other stuff that have already been said. Although, at times, i found some human characters behaviour more robot-like than the actual robots. It might be some kind of point to the story or maybe it's just because the humans are japanese, i don't know.
Either way, the series delivers a nice take on how humans might react when the robots enter our ...

    ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!
This is my first review ever on crunchyroll.

Time of Eve is one anime that with it's only six episodes catched all of me. Through the time I watched it I was completly sucked in it's pace and couldn't believe that it was the last episode already. I seriously cried my eyes out, because of it's beautiful and moving story between futuristic ethics and pure emotion that's kinda hidden between the ...

A rare masterpiece with a class of its own
A series about androids in the human society. However, different from the normal "man vs machine" movies, it's more like "machine becomes man". A very touching story that tells about how social stigma forms against androids and how to overcome them.

The animation is smooth and different from other animes that their proportions are more real-like, instead of the normal big eyes or long arms. ...

Fantastic anime with a moving story
There isn't much I can say about Time of EVE. It's completely, all around, amazing! The art is grand -no, resplendent- , the plot is magnificent, the atmosphere is majestic, the characters are the right balance between complex and understandable, and the sound -oh, the sound! I've watched the film twice (on iTunes, Time of EVE is formatted as a film), and I cry from the film's beauty every ...

    Isaac Asimov would watch it
I think that this show is fantastic, an interesting look into the ideas of A.I. And the style is oddly reminiscent to Isaac Asimov's works, but more over it really makes you invested in the people in the story. I do regret that this was so short, I think that there is so much left unfinished that its depressing, but at least it ended on a high note. Please watch if you have some time to kill, I'm ...

    time of eve: uncovered
well, as far as i'm concerned, Time of Eve is one of the best series that I have watched here in Crunchyroll. I admit, when I first saw it I thought it was something boring and all but I was wrong. Time of Eve is an animation with a touch of reality. The animation was good. The characters were also excellent. Storyline was perfect. And it was touching. I was touched through the actions of the ...

Amazing story that makes one think.
While it even brings up the first correlation I could draw within the actual anime, I have to say that I love this different approach to a Blade Runner type story. It makes you think, what really qualifies us to judge what is humanity? If we get to the point where we can't tell man from machine, shouldn't we just accept that we don't need to tell them apart anymore?

    Because who doesn't love robots?
OK, so I really liked this anime.
Part of the reason was the length. It was easy to get through and I know that I could always watch it again without having to spend too much time doing so. But at the same time I wanted it to be longer. Maybe much longer. It was really interesting to be in the world created for the show.

The characters are very intriguing. Because of the cafe's rule, it leaves ...

A small masterpiece of epic proportions
I recently stumbled upon this gem by pure coincidence. The ad for the final episode appeared on CR's front page and the art style alone forced me to look into it.
It turns out the art style isn't the only thing which makes "Time of Eve" worth watching. Rarely does an anime achieve such well imagined characters over 20+ episodes, never mind 6. The transformation of Masaki in particular is a joy to ...
