  • This is really great and the way its done is refreshing
First off, the camera. The way the angles are done with the text to make emphasis on certain scene and with the music is magic !!
The characters are well developed and softly drawn and that fits perfect with this show.
It tackles the issue of desire vs "responsibility" or what people/ robots are expected to do or believe.
How the show deals with and answers the questions is very applicable to ...

  • Heartwarming AI Anime
If you enjoy a story that makes you contemplate the complexity of life and human emotion, this is a great anime that will leave you in a blissful, sentimental dream. My only wish is that there were more episodes, as I would have loved to spend more time in the world that is "Time of Eve". I love the artwork and the story is very heartwarming.

    Thoughtful portrayal of androids
The question of the treatment and differences between humans and androids is explored in this interesting, thoughtful anime. There are a few anime cliches that pop up from time to time in attempt to provide humor but end up detracting from the experience. However, the characters and setting compensate for these moments, and you'll end up thinking about the story long after you have finished ...

  • Still Watchable and Enjoyable
I actually watched this on Blu-ray, but the streaming version appears to be the same.

If you're at all interested in understanding the question of what makes us human this is one of the anime to watch. The quality of the animation holds up through the years and the script and acting is awesome. I wish they could have expanded on a few more characters and added more sequences.

    It's definitely ...

  • Please watch Time of EVE
    Absolutely watch Time of EVE.
There are six episodes, each episode lasting approximately fifteen minutes. This whole series is about as long as a film, and is definitely worth your time.
I'd add more, but between other reviews and my own desire for you to go into this anime without any preconceived notions or opinions, I will refrain.

It is not an action anime, but more of a thoughtful one, ...

Great sci fi story about AI and companionship.
Time of Eve is a very good short sci-fi story. It explores ideas about artificial intelligence and companionship. It really questions why a relationship between a human and AI is any different from a normal human human relationship. I really like how they handled the topic of identity. Reminds me of themes from Blade Runner.

  • Pretty, lovely, a little short, but hits the bitterly-sweet side of my coffee
This was probably one of the shortest animes that I've even considered writing a review on, because the graphics are pretty good(should be since it's short) and the plot of the story was really freakin' good. The story had a good climax and, it had a good
plot-to-climax. Although I do wish theres going to be more explanation of the

  • A short series that deals with AI and human relations
This series is short. With every episode (minus the final 6th episode) running between 165 & 18 minutes. Essentially watch the whole thing will take under two hours. Do not let the length of this series fool you. This an incredible story of two friends who live in the conveniences of robots (androids) and discover a cafe where it is hard to tell who is human and who is not. Difference of opinions ...

  • From a robot of flesh and bone
An great anime for hard sci-fi fans as well as anyone who loves robotics.

I would love to attend this cafe if it were real (though I might actually be mistaken for a robot. There were many people who called me Spock).

Of course this does say a lot about humans after all DNA is just software.
