Two minutes of my life wasted.
First off, why would you simulcast this? Even though the episode is under 2 minutes, it's still 2 min I'll never be able to get back. Someone decided to throw some random crap together and call it an anime. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone.

Very Random, but truely hillarious XD
XD Anyway I watched this OVA on another site (I forgot which one sorry) and found this OVA to be hillarious, Yeah its random as ever but overall its genius! Gackt did a great job voicing Uesugi Kenshin too. I loved him in the Japanese version of Crisis Core and he was great in Tono to Issho. XD please watch this show if you want to lol!

It faled as a Anime and Comedy
did not like thought the 1 ep was bad then wash 2 ep to see if it was better. the jokes were sad. random boring joke dos not make it a comedy. As a anime it brought shame to animes everywhere. DO NOT WASH IT IT IS A WAST OF TIME EVEN I IT IS A 1 MIN SHOW AND 1MIN SONG.

    Not for Naruto nerds
To be able to fully enjoy these episodes I would recommend finding the OVA first. It also helps if you have an understanding of what gag animes/mangas are about, appreciate the absurdity in Japanese humor, and know a bit of the language. I wish these shorts were a little longer, but they seem to be one joke quickies in format. If you come at this looking for Sengoku Basara or any other ...

Not bad, kind of reminds me of Gintama 0_o
It took me a while to like this series, probably because it was right after Gintama ended (if you listen you can recognize the same voice actors ^_^). But I like the way that they incorporated pop culture, fiction, comedy (Japan style) and history together into a quickie 2 minute skit.

Also I agree with the review below. Don't waste your time if you're way into shounen-type anime like Bleach ...

It's not a bad short but....
Been reading 4 cell comics for a while so I get the humor a bit. This kinda reminds me of Mobile Suit Gundam-san in humor. I wouldn't say this makes a great anime, but if it has manga form I'm sure that's hilarious. Like others say, if you're into action explosions and boobs, this isn't the anime for you.

  • Tono to Issho- I hardly Know What To Say
Ok.... I will start of say that this has made it onto my favorites and will follow that with... it is the most ridiculous I don't know why im laughing series I have ever had the fortune of watching. On a more serious note, I think that the concept for this series is successful(in my opinion at least) in that it is the perfect short burst of perfected jumble that could be created, any longer of an ...

    Comedic Japanese History
First off, this is not an anime for everyone. It has a lot of Japanese humor in it which can be confusing. That being said, it is also very funny, in my very humble opinion. It takes the rich history of Japan and turns it into a 1-2 minute laugh fest. When I first started watching this series, I didn't understand it at all and thought it was boring. But once I read up a little on Japan's ...

Give it a try, you'll be surprised!
Having lived in Japan, I can say that this series brings history to life better than any NHK documentary! And is far easier to watch. I appreciate a good documentary sure, but many aforementioned documentaries seemed to have the same, middle-aged female narrator who approaches the historical figures with a sense of awe/reverence. Not so for this series! Tono to Ishho reminds us that these warlords ...
