  • absolutely adored this anime!
keeps you interested and never has a dull moment!the characters are real and flawed so it doesn't seem overly sweet.the art style is clean and beautiful, and the dialogue flows and seems natural.i even loved the dub which is really saying something. all around a great one that i would definitely recommend.

  • Toradora Is Fantastic
Hilarious and adorable, with great characters and interesting interactions between them makes this gem of an anime almost perfect, but does have ONE issue.

Minori... By far the most annoying anime character I've ever come across. Really wanted her to like disappear...

But other than that, GO WATCH Toradora... It's more addicting than tacos and I love tacos more than my mother lmao.

  • Romancing its way to an amazing show!
I must say this show never ceased to keep my attention, its character development is far superior to most other shown of the same genre. I was very impressed with how it felt like each character actually had a place in the story and they had their own unique characteristics. I give this show my utmost respect for delivering a very touching story with amazing development and decent comedic quality. ...

  • One of the best romance stories, barnone.
Spanning 20+ episodes, Toradora is an absolute beautiful romance story about two worlds clashing but eventually melding together. It hits home very grown up themes incredibly well, so I'd say that teens on the brink of graduating from High School will relate to this the most. Now, let me break this down a little more.
Story: The main premise of this anime is Ryuuji, the scariest looking ...

  • Violent humor gives way to relationships with real depth
crazedjedi's review is perfect. I can only reiterate that the main and supporting characters grow to appreciate each other in more than a shallow, high school rom-com kind of infatuation. This is definitely one of my favorite series.

I want to highlight the character Ami Kawashima for complexity of character development. All the characters have their turn at showing new layers, but ...

Violence ruined some of the romantic moments.
    Spoilers!!

I love this anime, don't get me wrong. This is one of those animes that you watch when you wanna say "awwwww" and "we all can see she loves him" while eating popcorn. Just waiting for them to get together. I normally don't like animes that does'´t have any fantasy elements in it, but I do have some exceptions like this and some other dramas.

So why four stars instead of five? I ...

  • Incredible! A must watch for all romance fans!
The first time I watched this, I watched it in dub. But for the first episode, I watched in sub, then by accident moved to dub in the second episode but the thing is, I didnt even realise! That has never happened to me before (with the exception of Fullmetal Alchemist Brotherhood) for me to watch a show and not realise the language is being spoken in a completely different language from the ...

Love in the Time of High School... With a Picture Perfect Dub
This is a series I have watched countless times, and on each rewatching I marvel at how well these characters are portrayed through the entire series. As a romance story, we all should know that the two titular characters Taiga (the TORA) and Ryuji (the DORA) end up falling in love. What fails in many romance anime series is when the love feels either rushed or left for the final 2 minutes of the ...
