    Interesting, well written, good characters.
I'm writing this at the time of episode 5's release.

I wasn't at all sure about this anime after watching the first one. The first episode dumped a ton of information on you, and looking back at it from episode 5, I understand it much better (this seems to happen to me pretty frequently).

    A few things:
Inga is definitely NOT a little boy. Inga may possibly be a woman, but I think it ...

    the mystery of un-go
storyline: i usually find myself sorely dissapointed when i watch mystery shows, or read mystery novels(like sherlock holmes for example. in the book i read i knew who did it in the middle of the begining). i watched un-go almost completely on whim. the first episode intrigued me so much i kept coming back for more. in this series the writers always seem to be thinking of different ways to trick ...

Why I enjoy the anime Un-Go
Before Un-Go, I had never watched a detective anime ever (unless you count the few times Gintama gets serious, which I don't) and had only watched a couple of supernatural shows. However, the description for Un-Go looked interesting, so I decided to try it out. This is what I found:

Storyline: Though I'm not sure of the over-arching storyline of Un-Go, from what I have seen, it proves to be ...

    The BEST Anime Ever.
Okay so I wasn't too sure about this one, but I first saw it at an anime convention in a screening room, so I didn't really have time to form an opinion on it. A girl I met told me it was worth watching, so I gave it a shot.
Long story short: I was glad that I did.
Because not only does the fact that it's a mystery-murder show draw you in, but the fact that the characters are a mystery ...

An Intellectual Anime and Well Written Mystery
It is rare, but they do exist. The premise of this story is that an outstanding detective has an assistant who forces someone to answer one question. She can only ask once however. It is strongly recommended you follow the episodes in order, though a couple of the arcs stand alone by themselves.

The largest criticism of this anime is that it seems rushed. It seems like they could have ...

    Not my favourite randomness
This show was completely random in a very positive way, as well as being very smart. It's not my favourite random show, as it felt like something was lacking, but despite that it was still very good.

Not so defeated detective - Go Un-Go!
Absolutely love the music, esp the end credit song. The characters are well done, both artwork and development - they are not one dimensional. There are enough hints of a complicated past lurking beneath Inga and the "Defeated Detective" to pique one's curiosity. The episodes so far have depicted a post-war police state in the making very effectively, with the tensions among power groups playing ...

    Impressive, yet short-lived series...
I was a bit skeptical at first about this series, but after watching the first episode, I was hooked and couldn't stop watching. From the characters to the story and even the music, I was impressed to the point that I was sorely disappointed when I reached and watched the last ep. I'm hoping BONES will do us all a solid and deliver a second (and maybe a third?) season of this thought-driven show.

Found a Gem of a Show!
This is my review after what has to be the 5-6th re-marathon. That tells you something upfront.

This anime is anyone who loves detective stories, loves intellectual storylines, and loves good OP and EP. The setting is realistically AU, with intrigue, and plot twists centered around morals and finding the truth. The music is amazingly well set to the story, the artwork has a rustic charm and is ...

    Stunning Show.......
    Characters 5/5
Wonderful characters each with their own unique and amazing personalities. You can not help but to fall in love with them.
    Music 5/5
Very dramatic and lovely music that really captures the feeling of the anime. Especially the opening and ending themes.
    Style 5/5
The graphic style was pleasant, interesting, mysterious, and provided a sense of realism as a whole. Graphic styles ...
