    Interesting, well written, good characters.
I'm writing this at the time of episode 5's release.

I wasn't at all sure about this anime after watching the first one. The first episode dumped a ton of information on you, and looking back at it from episode 5, I understand it much better (this seems to happen to me pretty frequently).

    A few things:
Inga is definitely NOT a little boy. Inga may possibly be a woman, but I think it ...

Not so defeated detective - Go Un-Go!
Absolutely love the music, esp the end credit song. The characters are well done, both artwork and development - they are not one dimensional. There are enough hints of a complicated past lurking beneath Inga and the "Defeated Detective" to pique one's curiosity. The episodes so far have depicted a post-war police state in the making very effectively, with the tensions among power groups playing ...

  • Very Intersting Anime Indeed
Well to be blunt i wasn't sure if i would like it at first . The more i watch it i start to rely get into it . The music is deferentially a plus and the storyline is good as well but i bit to easy for me to figure out who the killers are but that is just me . I watched plenty of mystery titles not just anime as well so its easy for me to deduct who the killer is . Its still good to watch even ...

    A great anime to watch!
This anime is excellent! Since the first couple episodes were easy to solve, it got me even more hooked! I was surprised that such a good anime came out! Not only is it suspenseful, it is satisfying as well. None of the characters are boring; they have more to them than what is expected, and the music continues to impress. Every week, I can hardly wait for the next episode to come out! This anime ...

    The BEST Anime Ever.
Okay so I wasn't too sure about this one, but I first saw it at an anime convention in a screening room, so I didn't really have time to form an opinion on it. A girl I met told me it was worth watching, so I gave it a shot.
Long story short: I was glad that I did.
Because not only does the fact that it's a mystery-murder show draw you in, but the fact that the characters are a mystery ...

Why I enjoy the anime Un-Go
Before Un-Go, I had never watched a detective anime ever (unless you count the few times Gintama gets serious, which I don't) and had only watched a couple of supernatural shows. However, the description for Un-Go looked interesting, so I decided to try it out. This is what I found:

Storyline: Though I'm not sure of the over-arching storyline of Un-Go, from what I have seen, it proves to be ...

    the mystery of un-go
storyline: i usually find myself sorely dissapointed when i watch mystery shows, or read mystery novels(like sherlock holmes for example. in the book i read i knew who did it in the middle of the begining). i watched un-go almost completely on whim. the first episode intrigued me so much i kept coming back for more. in this series the writers always seem to be thinking of different ways to trick ...

A Dark Horse from a Strong Season
I had gone in on Un-Go early during Fall 2011 due to real life events, and I had never truly gotten around to finishing the series even when it finished. I only just recently have been able to give this series the attention it deserves- and it deserves a lot.

This is a series not unlike those from Studio BONES or on the noitaminA block- you can clearly see it's been made with serious passion ...

  • An Interesting Show Which Exceeded My Expectations
Honestly, when I began watching Un-Go , it was out of boredom. But I couldn't stop after the first episode, because the enigmatic characters drew me in (Inga especially). As the show went on, it was easier to see that the first few loosely-connected episodes did somewhat tie into the main plot, which makes it better than some other detective shows.

I admire how the detective genre, with ...
