Hah! My family does the same thing: planting a birth tree for each member of the family. Mine is an oak tree, my sister's is an aspen, and my brother's is a pine. Some things are universal it seems.

I might watch this series again after I finish the episodes. I just wish there was more though. This has taught me a lot of things I did not think about, in regards to a parent/child relationship. Rin is so cute.

I love the art style too midori_tori, I noticed right away that they used Copic markers to color the first segments of the show. They also worked hard to make the entire anime look as if it were colored with Copic markers but I'm not sure.
