  • Seriously, just watch it
Good story, great characters. Very easy to relate to. Also, if you're a Japanese language learners, this is a good show to watch. Disable the subs and enjoy the art and the story. There is no over the top language or crazy vocabulary. You should be easily able to understand this show at an an intermediate proficiency level (think JLPT N3).

  • Nicely well done anime for mature audiences.
After watching the first episode, I ended binge watching the rest. You can tell that the characters, back stories, themes, and each element included in the anime was thoughtfully put together. This is one of the more mature, most touching and heartfelt animes created. I hope they come out with season 2.

  • Incredibly Heartfelt, Mature, and Meaningful
This anime is a bit slow, there isn't really any action to speak of, and the plot is pretty simple.

But Usagi Drop is not about any of those things, and it does not need to be. The main thing about this anime that hits me is how accurately it portrays human emotions and difficulties with certain familial issues. It is not every day one comes across an anime about a young girl and her guardian, ...

  • Phenominal. I couldn't stop watching it.
I don't even know where to begin. Here, have a few adjectives in the meanwhile: Awesome, heartwarming, sublime. It's everything you want to see in art.

The true strength of the show is it's ability to develop characters, both the main and the secondary. You can't help but be invested in the lives of Rin and Daichi.

Also, do yourself a favor and consider the anime episode 13 to be the end. ...

  • My Impression at Episode 5 (Re-Edited at Finish)
I am so angry with myself for not watching this sooner! I have joked to my friends that I will probably be a single father some day (I understand it sounds sad, partly meant to be) and I hope I could be half as awesome as a dad as Daikichi. I knew coming into this anime that it'd be a feel good anime with maybe some serious episodes or moments but so far it has completely exceeded my expectations ...

Take A Look Into The Journey to Adulthood
Someone's Grandfather had A little girl. Then Grandpapi died = Girl is now left alone without anyone to take care of her -this causes family members to take a good look at their own lives & decide what to do with her.
Since everyone has work, school, etc..No one fesses up & takes charge of the child right away, causing family members to think of sending her to an adoption center.

    The ...

  • Very Cute Slice-of-Life
This show is absolutely adorable! It examines he relationship between an adoptive parent and child, and how the man's life changes. I love how the adults in the series deal with realistic problems involving love, family, and marriage. I'm also a huge fan of Kouki, the little boy who stands up for the little girl at the daycare!

  • Such an Adorable Anime
This anime was heart-warming and adorable. It seems to realistically portray many of the trials of parenthood, and there were sprinkled moments of humor to break up the more serious subject matter. This is an extremely well-done series, and I highly recommend it.
