  • A very heartwarming anime
Usagi drop is one of the sweetest and kawaii anime about kids I have come across. While I found it a little lacking of energy, it was very heartwarming and sweet and I highly recommend it for anyone who loved children or wants to watch something sweet.

  • Wonderful and pleasant
Everything about this anime is pleasant: the character design, sound, background. The story is simple, but its really nice to watch the warm relationship between the two characters. Personally this anime managed to create wonderful main characters. You can really feel for the adorable girl who deserves every happiness in the world and more.

  • A Truly Endearing Anime With A Very Real Feel To It.
I remember hearing about Usagi Drop years ago, shortly after it came out and I was just starting to get into anime, but never watched despite being interested. And now, years after it's been finished, I've found it again and I have to say, the phrase better late than never doesn't seem to cut it.

This anime was full of such sweetness, subtle drama, and touching, even sorrowful moments, that it ...

  • A Simple yet Great Anime
We start off this anime with a funeral that sparks one of the greatest friendship we see in this anime; The middle-aged business man and an orphan child. If you think about this, the whole setting and timeline of this anime doesn't really advance too far -- this is only a few moments of their lives that you witness. You go through the process of the man trying to learn how to take care of ...

    Seriously, just watch it
Good story, great characters. Very easy to relate to. Also, if you're a Japanese language learners, this is a good show to watch. Disable the subs and enjoy the art and the story. There is no over the top language or crazy vocabulary. You should be easily able to understand this show at an an intermediate proficiency level (think JLPT N3).

  • Nicely well done anime for mature audiences.
After watching the first episode, I ended binge watching the rest. You can tell that the characters, back stories, themes, and each element included in the anime was thoughtfully put together. This is one of the more mature, most touching and heartfelt animes created. I hope they come out with season 2.
