  • Phenominal. I couldn't stop watching it.
I don't even know where to begin. Here, have a few adjectives in the meanwhile: Awesome, heartwarming, sublime. It's everything you want to see in art.

The true strength of the show is it's ability to develop characters, both the main and the secondary. You can't help but be invested in the lives of Rin and Daichi.

Also, do yourself a favor and consider the anime episode 13 to be the end. ...

  • My Impression at Episode 5 (Re-Edited at Finish)
I am so angry with myself for not watching this sooner! I have joked to my friends that I will probably be a single father some day (I understand it sounds sad, partly meant to be) and I hope I could be half as awesome as a dad as Daikichi. I knew coming into this anime that it'd be a feel good anime with maybe some serious episodes or moments but so far it has completely exceeded my expectations ...

Take A Look Into The Journey to Adulthood
Someone's Grandfather had A little girl. Then Grandpapi died = Girl is now left alone without anyone to take care of her -this causes family members to take a good look at their own lives & decide what to do with her.
Since everyone has work, school, etc..No one fesses up & takes charge of the child right away, causing family members to think of sending her to an adoption center.

    The ...

  • Very Cute Slice-of-Life
This show is absolutely adorable! It examines he relationship between an adoptive parent and child, and how the man's life changes. I love how the adults in the series deal with realistic problems involving love, family, and marriage. I'm also a huge fan of Kouki, the little boy who stands up for the little girl at the daycare!

  • Such an Adorable Anime
This anime was heart-warming and adorable. It seems to realistically portray many of the trials of parenthood, and there were sprinkled moments of humor to break up the more serious subject matter. This is an extremely well-done series, and I highly recommend it.

  • first anime that made me cry in the first episode.
going off only the anime, this is one of my favorite anime/top 5. it was so peaceful and just perfect. finally an anime where kids sounded and acted like kids, for the most part. the characters felt real which is rare to see in an anime. even though the music is basically the same song just changed tone, speed, or instruments, i really liked it. i added almost every song from the ost to my ...

  • Tender, bittersweet, adorable
If you would've told me 10 years ago I'd love a nuanced, sweet slice of life anime like this I would have laughed. But this is SO sweet. No huge conflicts or cliffhangers, just small challenges that honestly reflect the tiny battles and victories of our daily lives. But it doesn't pull punches either. Not everyone is a pillar of strength and sacrificial love, as demonstrated by Rin's mother ...

  • A Beautiful Show from Start to Finish
I found this show randomly searching through the available titles. The explanation given in the info tab does NOT do it justice. A must watch for anyone looking for a warmhearted story, with a perfect pace to match the narrative. Looking to binge watch an 11 episode series at 1 A.M.? Look no further.
