    I Found This Entertaining
I found this quite interesting and entertaining. The storytelling was good and carried well over the 40 episodes. Great opening and a great conclusion. The music wasn't the best, but it was ok. The characters were quite well done from both drawing and in characterization. The animation was ok for not being current. Overall I would recommend this to those who like the sci-fi genre. It's got aliens, ...

OK for kids, takes a bit to get into for the rest of us.
OK, this is a fun little show. If I were to compare it to Japanese animated shows, I probably would have rated it lower. This is more of a Saturday morning cartoon. For what it is, I think it is pretty great. It is NOT a Japanese Anime and it will not tickle everybody.

From what I've read, it is originally French cartoon and this version has an Australian (?) English dub. The dub is terrible, ...

An animated scifi masterpiece that everyone needs to watch
This anime is based on a french scifi series which started in 1967 and just finished in 2010. This is an all time classic. The plot and storyline from each episode is well developed. The major different from this and a Japanese anime is the character development. The main characters are loveable and totally different from your standard cookie cutter japanese hero/heroine.

  • Great Anime to watch
I found Time Jam: Valerian and Laureline very enjoyable to watch. The show had strong lead characters that were easy like and fun to watch. The show has enough depth to be enjoyable by adults while still being enjoyable for a younger audience. The main topics of the show are time travel, inter-galaxy politics, love, with enough action to keep things exciting. I also thought the show had a very ...

  • Love this french anime
I keep coming back to crunchyroll to watch this because nobody else has it! I can't even buy it on amazon, it doesn't exist. I truly love this so much it's unique and fun. I love all the interesting little aliens you meet each episode. I like how Valerian is from the future and Laureline is from the past which creates great arguments on "how" things should be done.

  • A little-known classic.
The series starts off with an action-packed comedy of errors. But most of the series is calm, with an engaging storyline. The characters are allowed to develop organically and nothing seems forced.

I feel like the show could have run for much longer than 40 episodes without losing it's charm. The wrap-up to the series was relatively fast. (And maybe it seemed a little forced because of ...

  • Refreshing & Nostalgic
The animation is great, if you like this style. Ditto for the voices.

The only con I can think of about this show is that it was more episodic than storyline driven - but the story is there, and no episode is worth skipping.

    it was comedic and entertaining
I really enjoyed watching this. I love the classic feel its funny, action packed, and it feels like something that came from the mind of a true inspirational genius and i thought personally time travel was explained differently and in a way that could keep you guessing. Albert certainly choose articulate times to intervene and the main characters keep you guessing they are very much so in love and ...

  • Very good adaptation of the French comic book
It is probably not possible to make a perfect animated adaptation of this most excellent French comic book series, unless Peter Jackson picks it up with a large budget.
But this anime series does a very good job to keep many elements we love from the comic books. Foremost the cast of alien creatures is done very well, from what I have seen so far.
The comic books audience was from young to ...

Saturday morning cartoon meets interesting plotline
I am surprised that this is on Crunchyroll - but not unhappy. This is one of those that I would recommend since it is somewhat different than everything else currently. You just have to put up with: the corny music, fail transitions, irritating decision making by the characters, and of course the somewhat antiquated animation (though it's interesting in and of itself). Oh, also the English (is it ...
