If you liked Lyrical Girl Nanoha, watch this.
So far, this doesn't have a lot to recommend it other than really excellent animation. It is not even really unique in any meaningful way. However, it is very well done and has a lot of potential for a somewhat deeper plot as of episode three. The uniforms and outfits are rather revealing even for an anime but, nothing criminal. In short, if you enjoyed Nanoha and Madoka, you will probably ...

Bad way to kick off the new season. Skip this one.
There is nothing redeeming about this show aside from the technical merits of animation, and frankly, those should be a given at this point. This show is as creepy as Strike Witches from the "dread specter of moe" perspective (a term I am using from Daryl Surat of AWO and Otaku USA; credit where it is due), but without the interesting plot of the "what-if-ing" of WWII with an alien invasion. ...

    Great anime relatable to teens!
As a professional educator who deals with teens during the day hours, it is rare to find a work of media that accurately touches so many parts of the quintessential middle schooler experience as Vivired Operation. Its timeless lessons about friendship and young love are relatable for every teen and I would highly recommend showing this in classrooms.

    A perfect anime for pedos
From the first 30 seconds we are treated to borderline child porn fan service. I understand fan service has become ubiquitous with anime (for better or for worse), but to fan service waaaay too under aged girls? Gross. Better call FBI to check the computers of all the four and five star reviewers for this one!

    Seriously, panties .-.
to those that are complaining about the panties and shit. don't all mecha-MAGICAl girl animes have super short shorts? maybe there's a reason. you all seem pretty immature if you only review it based on the panties. what's so bad about girls getting Along so well? what's wrong with girls kissing each other on the forehead? So, you're saying two girls getting along really well is bad? Are you ...

    For a charnel-dungeon fitter:
Mysterious aliens are laying siege to Japan and only a group of young girls with access to powerful forces can stop them. It's a tired setup but manages to be entertaining on occasion. The central conceit that the girls have to kiss and merge to activate their powers and this is played to the hilt with no shame and good wry lines. Unfortunately this light-touch is sabotaged by the serious plot ...

It's okay for what it is...
...That is to say - decidedly not what it was advertised as. Anyone expecting a sci-fi saga (hopefully) a bit less complex than Noein is going to be sorely disappointed.
The first three episodes demonstrate this to be pretty much a typical magical girl show, albeit with a sci-fi aesthetic. Every remotely sci-fi topic gets handwaved away at best, and at worst we'll get stuck with something about ...

    Description Needs Fixing
Reading the description made it sound like this would be an interesting sci-fi about science solving all the world's problems and then said science screwing the world over only to be saved by more science. Yay science. But no. Instead it's about science powered magical girls that transform using the power of love and friendship and happiness and sunshine and bleeeegh I'm puking rainbows in the ...

    Sailor Moon meets Power Rangers
The first time I saw the girls transform, I immediately was reminded of Sailor Moon, but the coloured outfits reminded me of power rangers. The show also had that whole kids out having fun, oh no... evil monster appeared! let's go crush it vibe that gets a bit repetitive.

I felt there was decent character development and would likely watch another season if there ever was one.

    Their choice ...

    Mix a bit of everything
This anime looks similar to Strike witches since the school uniforms have no pants nor skirts, only panties! And they have super power through some new technology. Another thing, when they transform the first thing come to my mind is Sailor Moon. It's like they put these 2 animes together. I can't say the anime is not good. I enjoyed it but I really felt like I was watching SW/SM-like series.
